Jack's P.O.V
As Dean and I were walking through the alleyway I noticed something lurking in the shadows, I tried hard to focus on it without letting Dean see me, I didn't want to scare him over something I was unsure of. I then tried to ignore it and carried on talking to Dean. But it kept gaining on us as we got deeper into the alleyway "It feels like something is following us," I whispered to Dean, moving closer to him.
"Hmm?"Dean said, slipping his hand into Jack's.
"Nothing, nevermind," I said to Dean tightening my grip on his hand and pulling him along.
Dean's P.O.V
I caught a glimpse of a shadow in the alley, I was scared but I didn't say anything to Jack because he's already scared more than he needed to be.We went back to the house and Jack and I were watching the T.V for a bit then went upstairs to go to sleep."Goodnight Jack, I love you" I said to Jack close to a whisper, I hugged Jack then fell asleep in that position. "I love you too" Jack said peacefully hugging me back giving a warm sensation. Waking up Jack and I went downstairs to have some breakfast. We were tired from last night walking to my house, I was never more glad to see Jack, I love him more than anything (except from Daniel my brother) Daniel and I have had an horrible life because of our parents they ignore us and can get into arguments which can turn into fights.I am scared of what might happen, I just don't show it in front of Daniel to show him not to worry and that there is still hope for him and not the sadness that is there.
"Goodmorning Dean, I love you," Jack said yawning as he was pouring his breakfast into his bowl, then adding milk still staring at me. I walked towards Jack whistling a tune to myself off an advert I heard last night."Guess what Jack, I love you to because you always care, and want to help when there is something wrong with me, when I'm in stress" I said looking longingly at Jack wondering what he was going through on that night in the alleyway. Daniel came downstairs (my little brother Dan for short) he looked at me awkwrdly then turned away, what was up with him? "What's the matter Dan?" I said eyeing him suspiciously because he kept looking at the floor not me which means something's up.
"Nothing!" Dan said quickly. I still kept my eye on him just to make sure, I turned to Jack and started staring at him even though I've saw him a thousand times it was just something
"Dean," Jack said inching away from Dean. I snapped out of it as soon as he said my name
"What," I said wondering what I did, it couldn't of been something to offend Jack because he would of slapped me.
"Dean?" Jack and Dan said together,"You were staring at Jack for like ages,"Dan said with concern.I went upstairs to get dressed for school, I didn't want any breakfast because I might do something weird again,so I went back downstairs again, and ran out the front door away from Jack and Dan
"WAIT!" Jack cried pulling me back,"Where are you going I haven't got dressed?"said Jack reaching forwards to stop me from going. I felt sorry because Jack didn't do anything to me.
"I'm going to school early/ so I can refresh my memory on something important,"I said unwillingly because, I was nervous about what he might think about me when I've finished.I got out of Jack's grip and ran to school away from him I felt bad leaving him but I had to I don't know why I just did.
Jack's P.O.V
So I got dressed for school and set off, I had other friends such as Emma,Adam and Rachel they were cool to hang out with, but I kept thinking about Dean so it made it harder
"Why do you hang out with that friend of yours," Emma asked,"His names Dean right?" Why did she have to bring up Dean in this moment of time,I was thinking about phoning him, I had him on the line but I thought no. My phone rang and it was Dean calling, I ignored it because he wasn't talking to me.
"So why do you hang out with him? your the popular one aren't you" Adam said curiously.
"No he's just something very plain and dull I don't care about him, he think's I care though,"I said calmly.
"THANK'S JACK!"cried Dean from the phone hanging up, what just happened? He was on the phone? what, I didn't put key lock on , so he heard everything.
"Look's like someone isn't your friend ,"Rachel sniggered.
"Don't be nasty to Jack, "Emma said giving a warning look to Rachel, Rachel stuck her tongue out at Emma to amuse her.I looked back longing for Dean to come, the thought I wanted Rachel to apologise for ruining my life, for ruining my friendship and for ruining my future.
