I have no idea what happened yesterday in eighth period but I really liked it, and Carson wouldn't leave me alone on the walk back to our houses. "So you and Mr. Hood?" she would wink and nudge me and I would roll my eyes. I've never called a teacher one of my 'friends' but I feel like he learned a lot about me last night with his many questions. And he looks like he's close to my age but we didn't get to that just yet. I actually enjoy sitting next to Mr. Hood so when seventh period wouldn't hurry, I was mentally stabbing myself. I wanted to know more about Mr. Hood and I know that sounds stupid but he's cute, sweet and smart, a lot of things I like in a guy. I don't fall for the stupid jocks like other girls, I could fall for a cute nerd.

As soon as the bell rang, I jumped out of my seat, zipped up my book bag and ran out to the hall to walk down to Mr. Hood's room. I walked in and smiled at Mr. Hood, walking over to my desk and he looked up only to smile at me. "Hi Mr. Hood." I smiled wider at him. "Hello Elizabeth, are you having a good day?" he asked and I nodded. "Great day, you?" I asked. "Excellent but it was crap before you got here." he said and I giggled at him before mentally slapping myself for giggling at something Mr. Hood said. What am I stupid school girl? "Alright class, sit down and take out your notebooks and turn to the first clean sheet." He said, standing up and I did as he said, looking up at the board where he was writing a math equation that I had no idea how to solve.

"Elizabeth, do you need help?" Mr. Hood asked as I looked down at my notebook after he told us to solve the next ten problems. "Yes sir." I shamefully respond. "Don't feel bad, I was never good at math." He chuckled and walked over to me and bent over to help. "And that's how you solve pi." he told me after explaining and I nodded, finally getting it. "Thank God," I sighed and he chuckled, sitting back down in his desk chair. "Thank you, Mr. Hood." I smiled at him and he nodded with a bigger smile than mine which I didn't think was possible.

I went on to finish the problems before it was homework and the bell rang right as I finished number ten. I packed my notebook in my book bag and walked with Carson to the entrance. "Somebody has the hots for Mr. Hood." she squealed as we walked down the road that led to our neighborhood. "No I don't." I chuckled. "Well he likes you, I can see it." she smiled and I rolled my eyes. "In my dreams." I chuckled. "So you admit it! You do have a crush on him!" she exclaimed and I looked down, giggling at her. "Yes, Carson, if it gets you to shut up then I will admit it." I smiled at her and she screamed happily. I giggled and the rest of the night was me thinking of Mr. Hood and what he would look like with no shirt on.
