Rainbow

Red, the color a heart is supposed to be. The color of my face when you are near. The color associated with love.

Orange, nothing rhymes with orange. Nothing compares with how I feel about you. Nothing has ever felt quite like this.

Yellow, a bright and happy color. The color of insanity. You make my brain crazy, however, you make my bad days bright and you continue to make me happy.

Green, the color of the grass when you first held my hand. The leaves of the flowers you brought me each morning. The color of the beautiful eyes I would look into each and every day.

Blue, the color of the sky where you kissed me on the cheek. The color of the ocean, where we planned on having a wedding. The color of my worst days until you appeared.

Indigo, the name and color of a plant. The mixture of blue and purple. The emotions were all called the same thing, yet, they were two totally separate feelings.

Purple, the last color of the rainbow. I want you to be purple, in other words, I want you to be my last. I want to end with you.

Path Not Traveled

Coming across two diverged paths, I came to realize I was to make a decision.

{What path do I take?}

I stood and pondered at the options. I peered down each path and saw what it had to offer.

Down one there was a paved trail where clearly many travelers before me had gone.

Down the other were many signs of wildlife and it was grown up with weeds, briars, and many other obstacles. As I looked it seemed peaceful once you got through the worst of it.

Standing there I reached my decision. I decided that I wanted to live my life to the fullest. So I chose the path where hardly any body walked.

The obstacles may get rough, but we all have ups and downs in our life. Choose the path less traveled.

#3 - Traditional Japanese Haiku

Colors everywhere,

Reflecting in the puddles.

I am a rainbow.

#4 - Limerick

I had a dog named Lou,

He liked Strawberry stew.

He wasn't very bright,

So he ate it at night.

No! This isn't a haiku.

*(Thank you Noah for helping write this!)*
