It was probably one of the lowest parts of Cody's life. He had not only been fired from his job but had also lost the biggest part of his life, his girlfriend. Cody was starting to loose his mind thinking about the recent events that happen to him. He was slowly starting to go insane...until.
One night while Cody was at the local sports bar, drinking as usual. He would usually sit at the bar and think about the love one that he lost. Regretting ever loosing his job. He would often hallucinate and think that she was still with him. After he would wake up and realize that she wasn't with him, he would cry. Cody was normally the happy guy on the block. The guy who everyone looked up to for advice or for tip on being happy. Lets go back a few years and look at Cody's old life.
After growing up for the past 18 years, Cody finally graduated from High School a young and excited boy ready for the outside world. He had been studying engineering for the past 2 years and was thinking of going into the structure design business. After the graduation party that the school threw for everyone, Cody drove home to start packing to move into his new house. He had been saving for over a year for this house and had finally paid for it. Moving from one state to another would be a big move for him because he had never done anything like this before.
Cody knew almost everyone at his school. All the staff members, all the students, even some of the parents. He knew all of them and they all knew him. He wasn't the type of kid anyone would think would have depression. Every day before school Cody would put on a smile, almost faking it. He knew that no one would know that deep down he was actually depressed. He obviously knew how to hide it from everyone. Everyone had good vibes off of him but some could tell something was missing.
About 2 weeks go by and Cody has finally moved into his new house. Brand new furniture and appliances. Brand new carpet, paint, and even a new deck. The house was almost a dream house. Cody had found a collage that wasn't far away from his house, and it had offered what he wanted. He drove up the collage and has applied. Almost a day later he had gotten a call to come tour the campus. This collage was a much smaller collage than usual but it had offered more than anyone could want. After driving to the collage, Cody had found a small town not far from the collage. Being nosey, Cody drove over to the town to find out it was a small shopping center full of different buildings from food to clothing and even some arcades. Its was a collage students dreamland. After about a week of moving in, Cody had found a group of people who had just moved in not far from him in the apartments down the road and made friends with each one of them. They got along really easy. Cody had been talking to one of the girls more that anyone in the group. They talked more and more and started to hang out with each other. Eventually Cody asked this girl out. She said yes almost instantly. Cody had finally found that part of him that was missing. He though he had the entire world now.
