After school, I trudged my feet across the ground as I made my way home. 'Who knew being in a host club would be so exhausting?' I thought to myself.

|Flash Back to a few hours earlier|

The grandfather clock chimed as it rang for the opening of the Host club. As if waiting for this moment, girls came rushing in. Today our special event of the Host Club was the South Tropics. All the Host members dressed as if they were island natives on a tropical island in the south. Well that is of course excluding me and Haruhi. How on earth did they change the Music Room in the short amount of time? The world may never know. However I'm almost positive that this was Tamaki's idea.

I felt a pair of arms on my shoulders as I was gradually pushed to the front of the Host members. "Hello my lovely ladies" Tamaki said flipping his hair to the side. "Today we would like to introduce you all to the newest addition to the Host Club. (Y/N) the kind type". The high pitched squeaking of girl's squeals could be heard from all over the room. "I'm glad I came back, he's really cute." one girl said. "I can't wait to talk with him!" another girl giggled out.

The Host members got big grins on their faces glad to have their plan succeed. I felt happy I could help them and was excited to start. But little did I know how much I could handle. I shared a section of the room with Haruhi and as we chatted with our guests. I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by all the girls crowded around me. I must have had 5 girls on either sides of me and ten more girls sitting across from me. Haruhi and her guests sat to the left of us watching with amusement.

All of the girls kept throwing questions at me like, "What do you do in your free time?" or " Do you like sweets like Honey-Senpai?", "What's your favorite dessert, I'd love to cook for you sometime?". I could only answer so many at once. When the club ended I couldn't help but feel relieved. 'How was I suppose to keep doing this for the rest of my high school year?'. Looks like you had a rather rough first day" a voice said besides me. they place a cup of (favorite tea) down. It was Haruhi. She sat down next to me. "Yeah I wasn't expecting that many girls with those many questions. It kind of caught me off guard" I replied, " Neither was I. When I first started I got maybe 3 or 4 guests. But seeing how many girls came back and left with pleased and happy faces, I can't say I'm glad we got our customers back. I also saw some new unfamiliar faces too. Thank you again (Y/N). Your helping us out so much' she said with a big smile on her face.

"It's my pleasure, I'm glad to be helping you all out. Other than being overwhelmed I had a really fun time." I said with my own smile. I stood up as I saw what time it was. "Sorry Haruhi, I need to go home now, we should catch up on what's happened since the last time we saw each other" She nodded in reply and walked me to the door. I said my good byes to the Host members and Haruhi and left school.

|End of Flashback|

I didn't live very far from school, so I got home within the next 5 minutes. I put school bag away and changed out of my uniform. As I began unwrapping my bandages I heard the door open. 'Must be mom' I thought and quick put on my clothes. I walked out forgetting my hair was still up like a boys and when my mom saw me, she must have lost 10 years of her life. "Who are you and what are you doing here!" she said. "Wait mom it's me" I said quickly, for she was about to whack me with a purse. I undid my hair letting it all down. "Ohh, it's just you Y/N. I thought for sure you were a burglar. Don't scare me like that again" She said with a sigh.

"Sorry mom, I joined a club and I had to wear this and forgot to undo my hair." She looked surprised. "You joined a club? I'm so proud of you!" She said happily and hugged me tightly "You were so introverted at school I was beginning to worry, Oh I have something important to tell you". With that she let me go and looked at me. " I decided to get a job, so we can get an income of money ever since your Father left" she said dad. We didn't know where he was. It was over summer break this year when he left. The night before he came back different.

When he talked to us he sounded as if he was all the way in America. Then the following morning we found him missing and a few days later we found he didn't leave empty handed as he took half of our money from the bank. "I applied today to work at a local okama bar. I have to say its a very nice environment and I'll get paid lots of good money. Though the employees are quite strange there is this one man who is a cross dresser but other than that fact he's actually pretty funny and he has a younger daughter about your age. He seems to love her and care for her just like I feel for you" she said warmly. I was a very lucky daughter. Even though my father left my mother loved me for the both of them and tried her hardest to support me.

I couldn't wait to get out of high school so I can start helping out. Mother let go of me and said she was going to take a shower. I told her okay and began prepping dinner. My life wasn't exactly perfect but I liked it. As I began chopping the vegetables I couldn't help but think about what tomorrow would bring.
