Reese's POV
I am not really sure how I am going to tell him. After all, I barely even know him.
My head is spinning and I don't feel that great to begin with, but Before I share the monstrosity of a mess I'm in, let's go back to the beginning of the school year where it all began... Delaware PrepAugust 30, 2015 (lunch time)
Oh. This isn't good.
"What are you staring at me for?" Asks the boy who claims himself to be called by the name of Grayson. I was only staring bc I thought i was getting a female roommate.
He wasn't even looking up from his phone. How could he see me? I felt intimidated by Grayson. He acts so put out. But why? Rooming with a boy? Going to be tough. We are both 16 going into our junior year at Delaware Prep.
I Pushed these thoughts out of my head then looked back at my suitcase and continued unpacking my things. The room continued to stay silent except for the small sounds of my feet pattering on the floor from moving around, placing things where they belong.
I put my shampoo, conditioner, and other shower necessities in the bathroom along with my makeup and toiletries. I put my suitcase in my tiny closet and grabbed a few things from a target bag that I bought for decorations on my side of the room.
I strung some Christmas lights above the frame of the bed into a neat line then added a whiteboard calendar with a cork board attached at the bottom. I placed pens and notebooks and other school supplies in my desk which I also bought and added some push pins onto the cork board for future notes and such. I pulled my MacBook out of my backpack and plugged it into the wall.
I stood in the middle of the two beds looking at my gorgeous decorating job and gave myself a mental high five and a pat on the back.
Grayson still hasn't looked up from his phone or unpacked a thing and he arrived before I did.
I grabbed my room key and left toward the elevator and descended 3 floors until I reached the bottom and walked out the front doors.
The campus was beautiful, but I still see it as the place where my dad and step-monster could get rid of me... , but that's another story for another time.
It was a nice day. 71° and sunny with a slight breeze. The campus was crowded with people talking and laying on the quad in front of the library.
I walked around until I reached the book store and grabbed all the textbooks I needed for all my classes. I also bought some gum and snacks for me to eat.
I left the bookstore and was back into my room. I grabbed the room key but the door wasn't locked so I walked right in. Grayson had done a little unpacking while I was gone.
I set my books on the desk and Grayson came out of the bathroom. He proceeded to unpack some clothes and other things for his side of the room.
I unplugged my MacBook and grabbed some headphones from the desk drawer and sat on my bed.
I opened up Netflix and watched some Grey's Anatomy. 9 episodes in I looked at the time and it was getting late so I decided to get dinner. Maybe Chinese? Yes, chicken stir fry sounds good right about now.
I grabbed my phone from the charger station and called the nearest Chinese place. "Hi I would like to place and order for delivery." "Delaware Prep" "uhh, chicken stir fry please with soy sauce and white rice. Oh! And add a Dr Pepper to that as well. " "okay thank you"
20 minutes later the delivery guy showed up and I was peacefully eating my food and watching Netflix. Grayson looked up at me and I could tell he was hungry. He kept staring at my food.
"You want some?" I sayHe looked at me then at my food and decided not to answer my question.
I finished my food and put the leftovers in out mini fridge and then went to bed. School starts tomorrow and I'm not sure how this is gonna go.
