Sasuke's POV

Naruto caught me off guard, I'll admit, but I can do the better deed. What I planned is a great deed.

I smirked happily to myself and caught up with Naruto. His orange coat was the only splash of color in the almost monotone setting, which made him easy to spot.

I grabbed his hand and tugged him forward, leading him to one area. That area was a willow tree on top of a hill. This is the area where I do all of my thinking, and sometimes, my work.

"What's the meaning of this? First you're pushing, now you're dragging and yo-" I cut him off by pointing to the hill he just climb without paying attention.

"You'll see.." I smiled, placing my index finger on the familiar fabric of the hat. A blush spread across my cheeks again and I hid my face in the sleeve of my coat.

"Sasuke..?" His voice was uneasy. I worried him. I slowly lifted my head and laughed, wiping my eyes.

"I got snow in my eyes..." I said, trying to make it sound believable.

"Yeah, sure~"
"I-I swear I did!"
"Yeah, I believe you."
"You don't!"
"Of course I do!"
"No you don't!"
"Sasuke...!"
"Naruto...!"

This went on for quite a while until I realized the time. I swept my black hair away from my eyes, and looked at Naruto. I'm not good when it comes to surprises; I either say what's going to happen, or forget. But not this time, the timing is too perfect.

"Naruto..I want wanted to thank you for the hat...and just being an amazing friend overall..." I said.

At that moment, the sun began to rise. It brought shades of purple, blue, red, and orange; all the colors blending together to create a magnificent sky. As the suns rays hit the tree, it seemed to burst with life.

I watched the sun every morning and night, so it didn't really interest me. Then, I looked at Naruto, who was staring at the sky in awe. The light that reflected off of his face, brought out the tiniest of details. His complexion was enough to make anyone melt.

"Thank you, Sasuke." He looked at me, his eyes nearly filled with tears. I couldn't hold it in anymore, I embraced him, making him gasp. I breathed in his body wash that created a mellow lavender scent. It was perfect, everything about him was perfect. I didn't want to let go of the hug, I longed for this warmth. It was warmer than the hat he gave me. Sadly, everything must come to an end eventually.

Naruto pulled away from the hug, and smiled. Then, his expression changed into a goofy smile. He pulled the edges of the hat downwards and ran off the hill.

"Catch me if you can, Sasuke!" He stuck out his tongue.

"Stop catching me off guard!" I yelled, running after him with the happiest smile ever.

Now how's that for a good deed?
