Louis never really knew what the hell it must feel like until he got a call at 4 in the morning, from none other than Briana. He thought it was another night of her ranting about back pains or what should they name their child. But this time he was told to go to the hospital right away.

He's here.

Louis knew that when he was in the car driving to the hospital that his life was going to change so much. He thought of it, nine months and ten days ago when Briana told him that she was pregnant. He thought about how he should stop being such a kid himself and accept the baby.

Four months ago was the exact time when Briana said she was going back to America after the birth. She told him that she was not taking their baby with her. Louis had no choice but to tell her that he could take care of the baby by himself.

He talked about it to Liam and Niall, his roommates/best mates, and they promised to help him in every way they could. But the three boys know it's gonna be hard; they all have eight hours of work five days a week all at the same time - except Niall who's an hour later than the two boys. Either way, they would need a babysitter or a nanny that they knew they couldn't afford.

Now, Louis was on his way to the hospital with Liam and Niall. He was blessed to have two supportive friends. He knew he couldn't drive his way there tonight. It was a Saturday and Louis just got home from a nearby club when he got the call from Briana.

"So, what are you going to tell your mum?" Niall asked, glancing at the rear view mirror.

Louis was in the backseat, Niall in the front seat, whilst Liam was driving. Niall watched from the rear view mirror, Louis shrugging and groaning, slouching more in his seat. "Fuck, I don't know. I haven't thought of that." Louis admitted.

"You've had nine months and you didn't think of your mother at all?" Liam asked sarcastically, Niall snorted.

Louis ignored him, closing his eyes and trying to get a few minutes of sleep before they arrived at the hospital.

The second they arrived at the hospital, Louis was escorted to Briana's room when he told the nurses that he's the father.

Niall and Liam waited patiently, not even realizing they had fallen asleep on each other's shoulders on the bench outside her room.

Louis was alone with Briana and the small baby in her arms. Briana stared at the child with so much fondness, Louis didn't understand how she hadn't changed her mind about leaving her baby.

"If you changed your mind about the baby," Louis started. "You can keep it, you know."

Briana looked up at him. "You've been here for 10 minutes and you still haven't come closer to see our baby, yet you're already bitching about not wanting him."

"I never said that!" Louis defended himself, finally taking a few steps closer, sitting on the small chair next to Briana. Finally, taking a good look at the baby.

There's no denying that he looks exactly like him. Especially the cute little nose. Briana knows that too; Briana knows he's going to grow up to be exactly like his father. Probably one of the reasons why she doesn't want him.

"Do you want to hold him?" Briana asked.

"I-I," Louis took a glance at her before looking back at the small child. "Maybe later,"

Briana sighed, she knew that Louis didn't want this baby just as much as her. However, Briana made up her mind and Louis agreed on raising the baby himself, so that's what he'll get.

"I'm sorry I got here late," Louis sighed. "Could've been there for you but I had my phone on silent."

Briana rolled her eyes. She might not know Louis very well, but she knew this was going to be his excuse when he's actually grinding up against some strangers at the club, forgetting the fact that he's having a baby.

"I'm leaving in four days," Briana admitted. "Please take good care of Freddie."
