Chapter 7

POV Harry

"What just happened? She agreed to easily," I tell myself as I continue to go down the stairs. 

I feel a grasp on my shoulder and turn around to see Niall.

"Harry, do you know where Vanessa is?" Niall asked.

"No idea," I said lying through my teeth.

"You sure?" he says lifting an eyebrow.

"Yes! The last time I saw her was when you guys went to sleep last night."

Niall looked at me one more time and turned around. He then began to run back up the stairs heading towards my room. Suddenly I felt fear as I realized that Vanessa is in my room! I run after him. The door was already opened and Niall was walking around inside. I looked inside my room and was surprised that Vanessa was not in there. The window was opened. I looked out into the woods. I was suddenly yanked away from the window. Niall grabbed me from the neck. I couldn't touch the ground. I try to pry his arms off my neck and then I meet his eyes. They are the reddest I have ever seen. He was angry. I then realized that he was way stronger than he was before. 

"What did you do? You know something!?," he says yelling at my face.

I try to talk but nothing comes out. I shake my head no. He lets me go and throws me toward a wall. My body makes contact with the wall. I fall to the ground gasping for air. I try to get up but I just stay there, laying down.

"If you did something to Vanessa, you are going to regret it," Niall says before jumping out the window.

POV Niall

I jump out of the window and look around. I'm about to run into the wood but I look around one more time. I spot her sitting under the shade of a tree. I started to jog towards her and saw that she was crying. I stop in my steps and watched her. Why is she crying? Is it because of me? Why is she sad? She can't be sad. I start to walk towards her. I stop in front of her. She looks up, stands up, and shoves me to the side. I grab her arm.

"Let go Niall," she said with a serious tone.

 I turn her around and move her head to the side. I bite her neck, sucking a little bit of blood. I leave my mark. This mark lets other vampires know that she belongs to me. She touches the mark. She then slaps me across the face and runs back into the castle. I touch my cheek. Then realization hits. What did I just do?! 

POV Vanessa

I ran back into the castle and went looking for Louis. I can't believe what Niall did. This means that Harry was right. After yelling Louis's name for a couple of minutes I go to his room, slam the door, and slide my back down against the door until I hit the ground. I put my knees against my chest and pull them closer to me. I was crying. Louis came out of the bathroom and began to walk towards me. He lifts my head. I avoid eye contact. Louis moves my hair to the side and sees the mark that Niall had left on me. He gasps. He let me go and sticks his hand out. I grab it and stand up. He pulls me into a hug. 

"Who did this to you?" Louis said as he rests his head on top of mine.

"He got what he wanted," I say.

Louis sighs and pulls us apart. He grabs my shoulders.

"Everything is going to be okay."

There is silence in the room. You could hear the birds outside and could feel the breeze as it came into the room through the window. The door suddenly slammed open. Louis lets me go and looks toward the door. I turn around. Harry is leaning on the door frame.

"It's almost sundown. It's time to go." He says.

He looked sad. He walked up to me and wiped my tears.

"There is no more need to cry."

He grabs my hand and leads me out of the room. Harry has been really nice lately. It's strange but nice. We exit the castle and start walking into the woods. As we walk away I look back to see as the castle gets smaller and smaller until it is no longer in sight. After walking for a while you could see a small cottage in the distance. I look up at Harry and he looks at me. He then gives me a reassuring nod. 

"Here we are," He said as he opened the door. 

It was dark and creepy. I step inside. Suddenly the door closes behind me. The door locks. I bang the door.

"Harry!"

"Don't worry Vanessa. Jake will take good care of you," he said laughing as I hear his steps disappear into the distance.

I turned around and saw a guy standing in front of me. "This must be Jake," I think to myself.

Jake grabbed my hand we walked to a closet. He opened the door and pushed a button and a keyboard appeared. He was entering a code and suddenly the closet opened, revealing the door to an elevator. We stepped into the elevator which took us to an underground room. He walked me to the bed. Suddenly I was laying on the bed with my hands above my head. I was surprised and confused.

"You look surprised. Harry didn't tell you?"

I look at him with a confused face. I thought Harry was trying to help me. Jake pushed down on my arms again. I couldn't escape due to his strength. I was not paying attention to what he was saying until I heard the words that would make my nightmare a reality.

"I am going to change you into a vampire."

What?! Why?! How did I end of up here. I am in so much trouble. I'm trapped. I was shaking, he had me pinned down. He is strong and I can't get out of his strong grip.

"Niall didn't really care about you. He just wanted you dead. So why not make you a vampire so you guys can live together forever in misery, " he said with a laugh.

He started kissing me on the neck. I felt his fangs brush along my neck. I was scared. His eyes turned red I closed my eyes expecting the worse. No one is going to come for me. I am going to be stuck here, maybe I will die who knows. Just as I felt the tip of his fangs, the door slammed open. In the doorway was Niall, Zayn, Louis, and Liam. Jake let go and I got up and ran towards Niall. I was a couple of feet away from him when I suddenly feel a sharp pain. I could see Louis freaking out and Zayn flashed out and returned. I got dizzy and fell to the ground.

POV Niall

She ran towards me and Jake got a gun and shot her right in front of my eyes. She gave out her last breath and fell to the ground. My heart just shattered into pieces seeing her bleeding out on the floor. I was so angry. I ripped Jake's head off and went immediately to Vanessa. She was unconscious. I put my ear against her chest. I hear her heart rate slow down. I listened to it and suddenly it stopped. I felt something wet go down my cheek. I touch my face. I was crying. I put her in my arms and put her neck near my mouth. I thought for a bit about turning her. But I knew if I didn't I wouldn't be able to live with myself. I  bit her. I had to keep her alive. I love her too much to let her go so soon. Her blood ran down my throat as the venom entered her system. I took my fangs out of her skin and carried her home. When we got home I carried her to the bed and laid her down. I couldn't believe I changed her. I watched her all night. Around one in the morning, she began moving. I touched her she was so cold. She opened her eyes they were red. She gasped for air and turned to look at me. When she smiled at me I could see her fangs. She looked hot, wait what am I saying she's going to get pissed.

"Thank you, Niall...for caring, Harry told me what you said and I got mad and I was worried," She said as she grabbed my hand.

"Your my princess and I'll deal with Harry later. Just go to sleep," I said as I kissed her hand and moved her hair away from her face.

I would never get to see her the bright fire in her eyes. We laid down and she fell asleep in my arms. I looked up at the ceiling. I wondered what Harry said to her. I'll wait till morning to ask her. It's over, the council will get mad that I changed Vanessa too early.
