Here Comes Forever (A Ross Lynch Short Story)

Chapter 4(:

After singing along to every song from When I Was Your Man to #thatpower, we finally pulled into a parking lot near the beach. We get out of the car and Ross grabs my hand and leads me down to the beach. "This is awesome." I say excitedly. He laughs at my enthusiasm. As we get closer to the beach I notice five people putting the finishing touches on a picnic blanket. Ross leads me over to the picnic and I realize that the five people are Riker, Rydel, Ratliff, Rocky, and Ryland. They didn't see us walk up. "Shhhh." I whisper to Ross. I sneak up behind Rocky and yell "I almost died!" He screams and face plants in the sand. Everybody laughs as I help him up and he brushes the sand off. "I'm sorry I had to do it." I laugh. "Thats ok." Rocky smiles. "I would watch your back though." He raises an eyebrow and rubs his hands together. "Hey! If you're going to prank my girlfriend you're going to have to get through me!" Ross exclaims as he takes a superman pose in front of me. "Not that hard." Ryland says as he picks up Ross and carries him over his shoulder. Ross sarts kicking and clawing at him. Ryland carries him down towards the water, unphased by Ross thrashing around. "No no no no!" Ross yells as he realizes what Ryland is planing to do. I run after them and jump on Ryland's back. "Please don't dump my boyfriend in the water." I beg. "So I'm your boyfriend now?" Ross asks from over Rylands shoulder. "Well you called me your girlfriend so...." I trail off. "Uggghhhh! I do not want to get stuck in the middle of this!" Ryland groans as he sets us both down and quickly walks back to the others. We both laugh and Ross turns to me and takes my hands in his. "I'll be yours if you'll be mine." He gazes into my eyes questioningly. I smile. "Of course I'll be yours." He kisses me on the cheek and we both walk back to the picnic.

"Thank you guys so much! This is so cute." I give everybody a hug. "It was all Rossy's idea. We just set it up." Rydel smiles at her brother. Ross blushes and looks down. "Aww thanks Ross." I hug him. He wraps his strong arms around me and spins me around. "OK lets leave these two love birds alone." Rydel says as she and the boys leave. Ratliff and Rocky turn around and start making kissy faces at us untill Riker grabs their ears and drags them away. Ross and I laugh at Ratliff and Rocky's pain. Then Ross kisses my nose and we sit down to enjoy our picnic.
