Cliché Alert (Love Story)

Chapter - 2

Cameron blake have a crush on me!!! I can't believe it. This is some sort of a weirdest dream I am having. But that is true. My childhood crush have a crush on me. That's so cliché.

Cameron and I shared mutual feeling for each other but we were so afraid of being rejected. And we never talked to each other. But thanks to my sweet English teacher Ms. Jared who knew about our secret liking for each other. She helped him to ask me out but that didn't go as planned because it was me who he was going to ask out.

The day he asked me out was the best day of my life but I being the nerdy and shy girl ran home without answering him. I felt so guilty for my behavior but he asked me out so randomly. He should have given some sign before doing it so that I could have been ready for it.

How will you react when your crush for years will ask you out so randomly with out giving any sign?

But after my tiny dramatic show we became friends. Actually best friend.

I always used to practise my answer for that question so that I would be ready to answer it without creating any scene.

After 6 months, he gained his guts and asked me out again.
That day was the most memorable day of my life. I still remember that day it has taken a permanent place in my brain.

We we're waiting for our friends to join us so that we could go to the amusement park after school. Cameron and I were standing in front of the main gate when Cameron removed a velvet box from his pocket and kneeled down on his one knee and asked me to become his girlfriend. I was so surprised by his sudden action that I was standing there like dumb for a minute and then I realized he was waiting for my answer so I started crying. All the words I had practiced disappeared from my brain at that exact moment. Cameron panicked when he saw I was crying. He engulfed me in a hug and comforted me. I smiled at his affection and kissed him. He was shocked at first then he realized what I was doing and he kissed me back. He had brought me a promice ring  it was so beautiful, I still wear it.

All this happened in front of the school, everyone stared whistling and commenting on us. It was so cliché. From then on we became the "perfect" couple and the hottest topic of gossip for almost a year. My friends made a page on Facebook for our fans following. We became an inspiration for some people in our school.

And like that Cameron and I started our relationship.
