It was a cold winter night. I stood you hearing whispers some where in the house. No one was home just me and my dog. "Macy come here girl,"I shouted, and she come. She slipped several times on the hard wood floor. We walked to the basement where the whispers got stronger and louder. I covered my ears but the sound was still loud. Macy began whimpering and ran off. I just giggled as she slipped on the floor. I went down on the first step. The whispering stopped so i just thought it was the wind and stepped back up as soon as my foot touched the wood floor the whispers began again. The whispers said "come." I ignored it and went outside. I grabbed a cigarette from the box and lit it. I noticed that there was no wind. I put the cigarette out and went back inside the whispers had never stopped since I went outside. I decided to go down the basement as soon as I was at the last step the whispering stopped no one was in the basement except Macy laying on the ground I assumed she was sleeping so I let her be and turned on the lights. I saw her favorite yellow ball was rolling and i had orange, reddish spots. Red paw prints stained the floor. I turned around a Macy was limping. It looked as if her claws had been removed see barked and in her mouth was no teeth to be seen i picked her up letting the blood go on my clothes she was whimpering so much. I took her to the car and drove to the vet. Tears welling up in my eyes.
