"But how? They were all sent to Hell for the rest of eternity!" I exclaim in disbelief

" I know. But some of the angels from above have rebelled and have started another seven day fall. Bacco let us know himself as soon as he could. He and all the other Archangels are okay with Patch being here, because he fought so hard on their side, but their are hundreds falling."

I already know what would happen if another war like last time broke out the Archangels wouldn't have any choice but to side with the fallen because they're "family" and not half human half fallen angel freaks like us. Also since we aren't immortal like the angels, we can die, and our numbers are already dwindling because we don't have any fallen angels to reproduce with females!

"Vee! I need to tell you something else though, Patch wasn't the only one to get out of the trap that sent them to Hell. Theres one other. His name is Dez. Me and Patch Found him last year, and we don't need to worry about him either, Bacco confirmed that he's a good fallen angel, well he has the same intentions as Patch. I'll go get him to introduce him." With that she leaves back into the tunnels.

While she was gone, it took me a little bit to realize that the same war that killed Scott may start again. Only now we have an even slimmer chance at winning. Great.

"Vee, babe. This is Dez." Nora said as she pulled a tall probably six foot five man out of the tunnels.

I had to do a quick double take of him. because I've met him before. Scott introduced us all those years ago. The thought alone brought tears to my eyes, but I found enough control to say, "Nice to see you again Dez."

He looked shocked that I remembered him, but quickly replaces that look by smiling coolly and saying, "How have you been Vee? God I didn't know you were a Nephil!"

" Ya neither did I, but things change don't they?"When I said that I almost regretted saying it because of the sad look he gave me.

At that point Nora choose to speak up and say, "You two know each other?" At our nods she continued, "Good cus you're going to be doing a lot of work together."

"Wait, Nora!" I yelled after her when she started to walk away. "You said another seven day fall. How many days do we have left?"

"We have the rest of today and then tomorrow we have to be able to intercept them at midnight." Then she walked away.

Dez then choose to speak up and he had the nerve to say," Nora and Patch both want you to stay out of the fight and hide under the amusement park with Nora."

"What? No!"

"They choose that because you have no swardsmenship experiance or fighting skills."

"Fine. Then why did they call me to come?"

"They want you to go into the tunnels when the fighting starts, and help gaurd Cassie when everything starts to go down."

Cassie was Nora and Patches daughter who no one understands. She's like seventy five percent angel. We think that when Bacco the archangel who helped us all those years ago gave Patch the sense of feel, well he apparently was able to give him the reproductive genes as well.

"That's why Nora is staying behind?"

"Yes. Cassie has the power to fight, and so does Nora, just Cassie is too young to fight."

I then realized that I was the only one that they would trust to protect Cassie, and I'm not going to let them down. I lost Scott but I'm not going to lose anyone else.

"I'll do it. But Nora need's to fight." I decided," It's the only way we can win."

Dez just nodded and then the longest day of planning were to go and going through all possible scenarios started and ended in a blur.

When we were down to an hour until the fall I was sent to the tunnels with Cassie walking next to me. She was only six, but she was incredibly smart. probably the angel in her blood.

It took us awhile to get all the way into the tunnels to where we were going to hide out. And we waited.

I knew Cassie couldn't hear anything, she wasn't matured yet. But I could. I could hear everything that happened above us. Clashing swords, cuss words, and Fallen Angels and Nephilim both, falling to the ground.

Even though you used to be able to not kill Fallen Angels, we found a new weapon that can send them to hell in chains. That way we didn't need to find and burn their feathers. Just stab them deep enough. Patch never told us where he found it, but no one has asked.

It seemed like hours until I sensed another Fallen in the tunnels, hoping it was Patch or Dez, but I couldn't be sure so I drew my own sword that I was given. When I saw it, it wasn't Patch or Dez.

"Cassie, get back." She obeyed, her purple eyes wide.

Before I could say anything to him, he pounced towards me. But luckily he didn't get too close, because I saw a flash of another sword and the Angel went down, and Dez was standing next to him. He looked at me then Cassie, making sure we were okay before he stood and swept me into a hug, and then did the most unexpected thing ever. He swept down and kissed me! It was like time stopped all together and It was just Him and me. I almost forgot Cassie was watching the entire thing, but Dez seperated our lips after what felt like forever. Sitting down he pulled me not his lap and Cassie right next to us, making sure we felt completely safe n

Dez and I have gotten close in the last two days, we talked about Scott and what was to come with this war and I felt more close to him than anybody else.

Dez stayed in the tunnels with us until Patch told him all the bodies have been burned and are gone. When we all walked up, Cassie immediately found Patch and Nora and ran straight towards them. I noticed there weren't many of us, but we won this time again, and I have the possibility of feeling love once again for someone besides Scott. He'll always be in my heart, but I have another place in it for Dez. And I'm pretty sure he feels the same, especially when he pulled me into another hug and clasped our fingers together. Forever, and the really good thing is neither of us will die in a very long time. I might also move back into this small little town of maine. You know, for old times sake.
