okay so if you've never heard this song I recommend you listen to it. it's called 'Alyssa Lies' by Jason Michael Carroll. it's basically about his daughter meets this girl named Alyssa. she's abused at home and she tells everyone she's okay. it's a very powerful song. later in the song the daughter comes home and tells her dad that Alyssa died because she was abused and didn't tell anyone. this will be just like that but Matthew will be in love with her. he wants to help but she tells him not to bc she's afraid he'll get hurt too. she later on dies or she can live it doesn't matter.
