Chapter 14 - Break

[Prepare for a rollercoaster!]

Harry POV

Marie leaves tomorrow, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't still worried. I want to say that these last couple of weeks that I have spent with her have put me at ease, but it hasn't, I'm still silently freaking out. We're going to be apart for the better part of 10 months, when shes in America, I'll be in Europe, and vice versa. We won't be on the same continent until 8 months into tour when we're both in Australia and even then when I'm in Melbourne she'll be in Brisbane and when I'm in Brisbane she'll be in Melbourne. We'll only be together for the 6 days our schedules overlap in Sydney.

I am calmer about it than I was after the photo-shoot but not completely. These past few weeks have been full of little things that make me appreciate her and I'm sad it's gonna end soon.

I love the gentle way she wakes me up when she flutters her eyelashes on my cheek. I love the way she runs her fingers through my hair while my head is resting on her lap. I love how she talks in her sleep, she has no idea she does it, and I won't ever tell her, it's my little secret. I love how she crinkles her nose when she's thinking, and I love the way she laughs when Niall and Louis tell her jokes. I like the way she treats and thinks of Liam and Zayn as her little brothers. I love the way she makes me show my inner kid, I've spent the last few years acting older than I really am, but Marie, she's bought me back to being a 19 year old.

"YOUNG HAROLD!" Louis called from down stairs snapping me out of my thoughts "Harry!!!! Hazza! Haz!" his voice started getting louder "Hazzy! Hazza bear! Bear! Love!" Finally he appeared outside of my door "Jesus mate, were you ever gonna answer me?"

He stood there staring at me for a moment before he crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against the door frame, "What's wrong?"

I raised an eyebrow at him "Why do you think there's something wrong?"

He sighed "We've been best mates for three years Harry; I'd say I know you pretty well"

I looked away from him, staring intensely at my hands in my lap...

"I-I, I think I'm gonna break up with Marie..." I said trailing off at the end "ya know... just take a break..."

"Your" Lou started

"YOUR GONNA WHAT!" Niall yelled running through the door "What the fuck Harry?"

"Yeah Mate what's going on?" Louis asked concerned

"It's just, we're gonna be away from each other for so long... I don't know how you and Zayn do it. Then she's gonna be with her ex, you know she only broke up with him because of the distance, well now there's not gonna be any distance. What if she falls for him again! What if I fuck up, I always fuck up. Ugh, I don't know" I rambled

"Mate, it's okay to be nervous!" He said trying to calm me "I get nervous every time I leave El, but we love each other and she flies to visit when she can on her breaks from school and you know I visit her."

"But see you and El are in love! Marie and I JUST started dating! Literally one month ago, it's a brand new relationship and we're just gonna leave each other"

Louis stood silent thinking with his arms still crossed over his chest. Niall however, started to walk towards me shoving his hands deep into his pockets and pulling his phone out of one.

"Mate, you really should pay attention more..." He trailed off as he pulled out his phone and opened twitter.

I didn't even know she had a twitter...
