Chapter 1 -
Journeys POV :
I was sitting on the couch with Marie , my little sister , when there was a loud knock at the door.
My mom went to the door and two strange men in all black suits walked in. She led them to the kitchen and they all sat at the kitchen table.
My father joined them after telling us to go upstairs. We were upstairs for about half an hour before my mom came bursting in the room with tears streaming down her face.
"Journey , Marie you know I love you both. I want nothing but the best for you both , you father and I will be watching over you from heaven ok angels?" she said while sobbing and i was confused.
"mommy , don't leave us" marie sobbed loudly and I stood there with tears running down my cheeks.
"I love you Marie" my mom said and kissed her forehead.
"I love you journey , take care of your sister and you" she said while kissing my forehead.
"I love you to mommy" we said at the same time and my dad walked through the door.
"I love the both of you , stay strong like the soldiers I know you both are" he said and kissed our cheeks before him and my mom walked out.
That was the last time I ever seen my mother and father.
