"Push push push rewind,go go back in time. I wanna go back to what we had . Do you remember when we..... "
By Chris Wallace

Remember what? We did what? What were we? Go back to what? Glimpses were the closest I could get to this answer.

My uncle gave the man with the blue eyes a look that kept him quiet. The man did not look happy about it but then again, Uncle did not look happy either. I stood in front of two strangers while they just observed each other. To say the least I was completely confused.

It was like we were having a staring match. "It's late, you should get to bed" my uncle urged. "Sure" and walked away from the thick tension. When I finally reached my room, I fell on my bed when I felt like crying. That's how I feel asleep, with tears running down my face.

"Morning, Sunshine" someone said. I looked around and I was stuck in some kind of cell. I was wearing rages, and I had marks up and down my skin from lashings and beatings. I wanted to cry because the pain was so much. I was terrified of the man standing before me but I have no idea who he is or why.
The man had a look of twisted amusement, and his eyes were glowing a dull reddish color to represent the thing he drank and lived for. The scary thing was I was completely helpless against this man or demon.

"After yesterday, I thought you would have died already" he spat at me. "I'll do more testings, and see what truly goes on in that body of yours and why you still stand before me today" he stated again. My mouth open on its own and yelled, "He will come for me, and when he does, you will die." With that the monster man, walked slowly to me and with a threatening glance, smacked me over the head with a wrench.

I woke up to meet electric blue eyes that were full of worry. I quickly got out of bed and started to pace around. That felt so real and it was so terrifying. Somehow, I knew that the monster thing was not done with me. I don't remember why or what happened but it needed something from me. It needed me to die.

I started to mumble things to myself, incoherently. The man stood there watching me with a look of wonder and horror at the same time.

I stopped and took a deep breath, I was going to get answers because whatever that thing was, it was not even close to being done yet.

Why me?

Blue- eyed man' s pov:

I heard before I sensed it. The screaming followed by true terror. It was coming from Kaitlin's room. Concerned and terrified for her, I ran to her room to see her thrashing in her bed. The scary thing was, I was completely useless.

I ran to the bed and tried to wake her, but it seemed to make her even more terrified. Her lovely featured coated with a sweat and the pain she felt made my heart hurt.

That's when she woke up. She had this crazed look in her eyes. Her eyes met me and my breath hitched. They were the same eyes that used to gaze at me with love, looked at me with fright.

She jumped out of the bed and started to pace around the room. It sounded like she was mumbling an ancient language.

It translated to, "Oh my god. It wants me back. I felt the evil. Oh my god." She kept repeating it. I knew what she meant, it was something I never wanted to remember. It was trying to communicate to her.

Then strangely just stopped. Her movements and her mumbling seemed to freeze. She was looking straight at me with a strange look.
