About a year after my wedding I had gotten a call from the prison were Steven was at. I was confused because I had told him and my lawyers I don't want anything to do with Steven. I decided to answer this call
"a caller from _______ prison would like to call this number if you would like to accept press 1" I heard the operator I pressed 1 and there was his voice
"You answered?" He said surprised
"I can easily hang up" I say I hear my daughters foot steps approaching
"Mommy, Tommy broke my Barbie" she said holding her Barbie
"Is that my daughter" he sounded happy
"Honey, mommy is making an important call right now go watch spongebob please" I said
"Okay mommy, can you fix Barbie I feel bad" she said wanting to cry
"I will fix Barbie okay" I said I then got back to the phone
"Took you long enough, I hope you know I have about 5 minuets left" he said
"I don't give two shits Steven why the fuck did you call me anyways?" I said making sure Rachel was paying attention to the tv and not to me
"Well you answered so this means you might be able to come to my court meeting" he said
"No! I will not come"
"Yes you will... I mean please at least come visit me I have changed"
"It's been one year Steven.." I hang up I then think about how happy he was at the voice of Rachel maybe he had changed I realize it's only 12:34 visiting hours end in about an hour I call Lilly and ask hid she can take care of Rachel once Lilly arrived I hopped into my car and drove to the prison I signed in they called him out he came out in a bloody face
"Are you happy now?" He asks
"What happened?" I ask
"What do you think Laura? I was jumped I get jumped every day in this hell hole" he says
"What did you want to tell me?" I ask changing subjects
He then starts to cough I see as he reaches for a trash bin to throw up in he throws up blood
One of the officers comes over and tells me to leave later that day I had gotten a call saying my "friend" had died that same day due to poison

" he faked it" I said
"What are you talking about?" Ross asks
"I never told you but I went to the prison the day he had supposedly died I saw him die Ross " I say
"You saw him lie to your face" I hear Lilly come down the steps
"They told me he was dead " I say
"I guess they thought so too" Ross says
"Something happened that we don't know about" Lilly says
"Just prison... I thought That would be the last time I would see him I thought it could bring me some closure... That son of a bitch lied to my face and I beloved him" i say I run upstairs to the room
"I'm gonna check in her" Ross says
"I'll pick up Rachel from school" Lilly says
I heard as Ross came behind me he wrapped his arms around my waist I turned around to face him
"I should've told you" I say
"I'm not mad Laura.. Not at you at least I'm angry at him for making you believe his lies"
"I hate him...(I say looking down)"
He places his finger under my chin and lifts my face up
"Promise me you won't go after him" he says
"I promise"
That's a promise I wouldn't keep
