I walked over to Sammy who was waiting for me outside the class. I cried and hugged her. "I knew there was something wrong going on in there. That's why I didn't leave. What happened? Did he say something." Sammy asked wiping my tears away as we pulled away. "I wanna go home." I sobbed. "Let's go." Sammy said holding my hand and pulling me outside the school. I kept as quite as I could, so no one could know I was crying. We got in Sammy's car and she drove us to my house. I told her everything that happened in the classroom. "The worst thing is that I still love him." I said shaking my head. Sammy parked in front of my house and we got out. "Yeah." Sammy said as I turned to see who she's taking to. "I can't come I'm busy." Sammy said as I unlocked the door. "What happened?" I asked as she hung up. "Mom wants me to pick up Joshua from the office." She said, Joshua is her step brother. "I think you should go." I said. "But, you need me here." Sammy said. "I'm fine, I swear." I smiled crossing my fingers behind my back. Sammy pulled that hand out and saw my fingers crossed. "I'm fine." I lied with open fingers. "Okay. Call me if you need anything." Sammy hugged me then went back to her car. "Ok, bye." I said and waved at her. I went inside the house after Sammy drove away to see a parcel near the couch. I went to it and saw my name on the letter above. I picked it up and opened it.

Love, me and your dad are doing away for a urgent matter. We left you your birthday presents as we won't be back till then. I know this trip is very long, but your a big girl now. You can take care of yourself. Don't stay out for too long and eat well. Keep the house clean and do your laundry. Don't do parties and be safe.

I read it and smiled to myself. My parents never message or call me when I'm at school. When they leave on my school timings they leave me letters to let me know they left. I took the huge box filled with presents up to my room and kept it in my closet, I'll open it on my birthday. I came back in my room to see pictures of me and Harry laying all over my bed. So many pictures, I had put away 5 years ago. I look hideous. Harry always looked really cute. I smiled looking at all the pictures one by one. Memories is all that's left. When I got to the last picture I felt something behind it, I turned it around to see a folded paper taped behind. I removed it carefully and opened it.
