Tayla's p.o.v.

Alcide. Is. Dead.

Ok not really dead, but he will be soon.

How could he just pick me up and take me away, when I am in the middle of a staring contest with a VAMPIRE!

"Alcids you can put me down now" I mumbled.

"We are nearly at the car," he huffed.

"Yeah, but I am heavy"

"You can see how strong I am, trust me, it is easy."

Alcids dumped me in the car, and reached over to out my seat belt on. As he was doing that, his hand brushed against my tummy and arm. This sent sparks alone them. I looked up towards Alcide's towering frame, and discovered his face was very close to mine.

I could clearly see into his amazing green eyes. And they weren't just a plain or dull green. No, no they had all different greens inside it and around the outside was a thin line of brown.

I could see his head leaning down and his green eyes flicking from my eyes to my lips.

I really should stop this, or the ride back may be hawkward! Cause you know, what happens if I am bad, or if he doesn't like it, or- or maybe it turns out like, it feels like you are kissing your brother.

Well of course you wouldn't know what kissing your brother feels like, but you get the idea. And then again for Alcide it would be like kissing his sister, or brother, you never know.

And also, don't get me wrong, I want, like really really want to kiss him. Just not now outside Fangtasia, people (Vampires) might be watching. Another note, I like Vampires, I do, but I just like to remember that some are bad. So until the Vamp proves him/her self to me, all is guilty until proven innocent.

"Um- home, I n-need to go home" I finally stuttered out, really smooth Tayla.

I could see the disappointment and hurt in his eyes, but he still gave me a small smile and walked to the drivers side. I quickly told him the address as soon as he started the car.

The drive was 45 minutes instead of 30 because Alcide was driving very slow.

Why? No idea.

It might be something to do with him being a----

"We're here" Alcide announced, breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Thanks Alcide, you didn't have to do this for me" I told him with a smile.

"Trust me Tayla, it's fine. I will do anything for you." Alcids said seriously. "Let me walk you to your door."

.

Ok, that escalated quickly. And by the look on his face, I could tell Alcide was still hurt about me rejecting him

With that Alcide got out and before I even finished getting all my things, he had come around my side to open my door for me. I smiled at him as I got out.

"You know, I can open doors by myself" I said amused.

"I know, but I wanted to do it for you," was his reply.

Walking to my door, I could help but feel incredibly guilty, and the car ride home was still awkward even though we didn't kiss. You know what? Screw it.

When we reached the door, I turned to him and beckoned him down with my finger, to my level.

"Yes?" Alcide whispered once he was at my height.

I placed my hand softly on his left cheek, and leaned forward and placed a small kiss on his right cheek. I then ran my lips along his jaw, to his and whispered, "Thank you for driving me home."

I felt him shiver. I hoped it was because he enjoyed it and not because he was disgusted. As I pulled away, I turned so my lips glazed the bottom of his jaw again. I looked up to see his face and caught him clenching and unclenching his jaw.

Very sexy.

Alcide's face was hard, but his eyes were soft. "Your welcome." He said quietly.

"May I have your mobile phone please" I asked.

One of his hands went to his back pocket to retrieve mobile.

Damn, I wish I got his mobile. I would have loved to feel his butt.

I quickly out my number in it, and saved it in his contacts.

"See you later Alcide" I smiled and waved.

"See you later, Sweetheart" he replied, smiling as well.

I unlocked the door, opened it, quickly walked in and shut it behind me.

Wow! Just wow! Yep, I have only known him for a short time, but I think I am already falling for him.
