Luke's POV:
The longer I leave her here the harder it's going to be for her to let go.. She's going to loose herself completely and god I don't even wanna think of what'll happen...
"Steph.. I'm going to tell you something and you've got to promise you won't freak out or anything okay? Promise me you'll hear me out until I've finished speaking..."
She looks so confused god I hate this so much..
"I promise. I love you why wouldn't I listen to you babe?"
With that last sentence piercing my heart like a dagger I couldn't hold back the tears anymore... I'm the reason she's stuck here.. She can't let go because she loves me...
"Luke? What's wrong! Please don't cry babe I'm here it's okay."
Ashton's POV:
Luke is sobbing and Stephanie is trying to comfort him... That's when it all clicked in to place... She's stuck here and doesn't know she's dead... Somethings holding her here and Luke must've figured it out...
Luke's POV:
"Steph- you- you're n -not re- really he- here..." I manage to speak in between sobs. This hurts so much it's so much worse than loosing her the first time..."Don't be silly Luke of course I'm here where else would I be..?"
"You're... You're... Not.... Here..." I'm shaking at this point.
"Stephanie you're dead.. You have been for a while now..." Ashton interrupted she turned around quickly startled by his voice. "Is this some sort of joke boys? This is too far even for you, I'm not dead I'm here for gods sake!" She looked so pissed at me. Wow, how could this being a joke even cross her mind... I'm fucking sobbing! "It's not a joke.. We can prove it to you." Ashton seems so calm about this and God I needed that right now.
"How could you possibly prove to a living person they are dead?"
"Follow me and you'll see..."
I know where he was going with this... He's going to show her where she's hurried...
This book is so close to being finished and I hope you all love it bc it's so good to write
