The accident

Chapter 9: it actually worked

So my dad woke me up at 8 this morning and I was tired, I mean real tired.

Mr.Johnson(her dad): *turns lights on.... Good morning Armani, time to get up.

Armani: okay. *getting up

Armani went into the bathroom and took her shower and bushed her tooth. Armani got a call from her summer.

*answers phone

Armani: hello *sounded sick

Summer: hey, are you coming?

Armani: no *fake coughs

Summer: okay, I hope u feel better.

Armani: thank ya summer, I got to go because my dad made me soup.

Summer: alright, I'll talk to u later.

Armani: okay *fake coughs

*ends phone call

Armani got dressed. And headed downstairs to eat breakfast. Her mother was sleep so that was good, so her mother wouldn't know that she was supposed to go to school.

Mr.Johnson(her dad): you ready? *grabs keys

Armani: yeah

Mr.Johnson(her dad): okay, you might be late coming to school but that's okay.

Armani and her dad left the house. It didn't take them that long to get to school and her dad was right, she was late which was good, so no one would see her and she could just sneak off home.

Mr.Johnson(her dad): okay Armani, have a good today.

Armani: okay, you too.

Mr.Johnson(her dad): remember your riding the bus.

Armani: okay, bye dad.

Mr.Johnson(her dad): bye.

Armani waited for her dad to leave the school. When her dad left, she walked home. She didn't live that far, which was good. She had this thing all planned out. And it was working too.

So Armani got home and waited for mother to wake up. Her mother finally woke up about 12 noon. Her mother came downstairs to get something to eat.

Mrs.Johnson(her mom): hey Armani, I thought you were at school.

Armani: oh no, dad said I can stay home with you. I'm supposed to stay the whole week too.

Mrs.Johnson(her mom): oh okay, ill be upstairs *grabs food

Armani: okay.

Armani was happy the plan was working but also worried that her dad would find out. Armani watched her mother all day. When it was about 4:00 her dad came home.

Mr.Johnson(her dad); hey *tired..... How was your day at school?

Armani: it was good dad.

Mr.Johnson(her dad): okay, that's good. I'm going to take a nap.

Armani: okay.

Mr.Johnson(her dad): *goes upstairs

Armani went upstairs herself as well. She watched tv until it was time to go to sleep. Armani decided to do the plan again just this week again. She thought maybe if she didn't go to school and help her mother out, then her mother would get her memory back more. Then Armani would be okay with her mom being home by herself.
