I arrived at the front of our school. Where are they? I thought. Somewhere near, I hope. I really don't want to walk around. I looked down the road. I saw Emily and Dawn walking down. I waved at them and they rushed up."Hey Alice!" They said in unison.
"Hey Emily, hey Dawn." I said, smiling brightly. I suddenly felt my book bag feel lighter. I grabbed the arm that was going through my bag and judo-flipped the person.
"Aidan?" I asked, looking down at the person. "How many times have I told you not to go through my bag?" I grabbed my book that was in his hands.
"Ow, Ali!" Aidan said, rubbing his head. "Was that really necessary?"
"Yes. Don't go through my bag!" I said, smirking. Aidan began to protest but another voice spoke.
"Aidan on the floor? Let me guess, he was going through your bag again." I turned around.
"Hey Andy!" I said, cheerfully. "Yep, he tried to take my Amazing Book is Not on Fire."
"In my defense, it was worth it!" Aidan protested.
"Shut up Aidan." Dawn said in between laughs. "You're not helping your case!"
I saw Sophia coming behind Emily. I waved at her. Emily turned around and saw Sophia sneaking up on her.
"Oh no, not this time!" Emily said. She laughed and Sophia joined in.
"Aye! The whole gang is here." Andy said. Emily punched him in the arm.
"Thanks Mr. Obvious! I didn't know that!" Emily said, sarcastically.
"Guys, let's head to class! It's starting in-" Dawn checked her watch. "5 MINUTES! LET'S GO!"
"Only you, Dawn! You are the only one who likes going to classes!" Sophia called after her.
"Let's just go. Race you!" I said, sprinting towards the doors of the school.
Later...
"I totally won!" Emily protested. "You cheated, Ali!" I smirked at her.
"Sorry that I'm amazing!" I said, walking into class.
"Your late." The teacher said. I turned red.
"I'm sorry, Mrs. Chase." I said. "I won't be late next time." She sighed and pointed at a seat. I walked over to it. I saw Dawn, smirking at me. I glared at her and took a seat next to her.
Later...
It was finally lunch, after a boring day of class. I walked over to our table. I sighed, it was filled with jocks and the classic group of bit- I mean mean girls.
"This is our table." I said to one of the girls. "Can you please find somewhere else to sit?"
"Uh, I don't see your name on it!" She said obnoxiously.
"It will be written in your blood if you don't get the hell out." I said calmly. I think I scared her because all the girls got up and left.
"You too, or I swear, I will chop off your balls." I said, glaring at them.
"Only for a date, cutie." One of them said. I walked up to them, pulled them up, and punched them.
"Get out, now." I spat in his face. They quickly got up and rushed off.
"Dang, I would not like to get on your bad side, Ali." I turned around. There stood Emily, Dawn, Sophia, Aidan and Andy.
"Hey! I got a table for us." I gestured to the empty table, smiling. "It was quite... easy." They laughed and sat down.
After a few minutes, someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around and saw Noah. "Um, Alice? Can I talk to you privately?" I nodded and got up. We walked to the hall.
"S-so, Alice, do you, w-want to go get c-coffee together one day?" Noah asked. I smiled at him. "Sure, I would love to." I said. I scribbled my number - I managed to buy a phone a while back - on a piece of paper and gave it to him. "Thanks, I'll see ya later?" He asked. I nodded and returned to my table.
