"No, dad. You can't make me do this! You're already forcing me to marry that cheating prick! By the way, he also disrespects my religion." Anissa shouted the last words as she walked out of her father's study. He always involved her in all his acts which she was sure had to be illegal.

She adjusted her hijab which was a nervous habit for her. He was making her go out with the scary looking man who always asked her out and even kissed her once without her consent, making her cheat on Gavin.

"Darling, firstly that's between you two. Your mother turned you into this with her extreme beliefs. You have to go out with him, for me darling!" Her father persisted.

"Dad, no! Have some respect for the dead. I am not going!" She spoke dismissively as she turned on the TV.

"Honey, make your decisions wisely. I will make you stop wearing that thing you wear on your head." He said as he stroked her head. No one except her mother had ever seen her hair. She paled at that threat knowing her father would do it. He always hated the way her and her mother dressed. He hated their religion. Deep down, she also believed he had killed her. Even though as her father, according to religion he could see her without the hijab but she just didn't feel like taking it off.

"Dad, no, please. He scares me. " She pleaded trying to reach into her father's soul. She sometimes wondered how a cold hearted monster like him could earn the votes of many citizens.

"My men will be with you. I need to show him who has the power. I'm the fucking mayor." He said harshly going into another world entirely. She winced at his curse.

She wondered how her mother could stand an arrogant pig like him. She hated him.

Draven was awed as he saw the Arabian beauty, he could tell it was her by those eyes, walking into his office. He was just about to head home. His mother had called him earlier. He was always struck by her beauty but he wanted to see with a passion what she had under that hijab and that veil.

He stood up immediately to welcome her. Her eyes, the only thing he could see were scanning every corner of his office, making her look nervous and unsure.

He smirked at the outfit she had on. He could not see any of her pale radiant skin, only her big brown almond shaped eyes. He was sure it was there so he couldn't kiss her again.

He held out his hand.

"To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?" He noticed  she had a glove on. The fall had only just begun though. He wondered what she was doing here. Last time, he saw her she was having a rather heated argument with her father who was involved with narcotics. The mayor had actually tried to bribe him to which he refused, obviously.

Anissa was angry. She was sure all of them were involved in her father's illegal acts and he was using her as bait.

"I just came to see you. Seeing we never spoke before. " She said tightly.

Draven frowned.  That was odd. He had asked her out a thousand times, even kissed her once which earned him a slap but she refused each time. Though he could feel the chemistry between them. Or was it only him?

"Okay. Come on. Let's go for a walk." He told her reaching out for her hand.

He signed out, telling his men he was off and informing them to call him if there was any kind of trouble.

He led her into his car. She didn't bother looking around. She was fully aware that her father's men were following them. She didn't like the feeling she got when she was near him. He made her feel things for him. Things she didn't even feel for her cheating fiancé. He hadn't even called her in a week. She hated him and hoped he called off the wedding because she sure as hell was never going to consummate their marriage.
