Its 2005 and Kenya is a sophomore in North High. She and her twin sister Danielle just transferred there. Danielle and Kenya look exactly the same but only Danielle is a lighter skin tone than Kenya.
Kenya meets a boy who goes by the name of Kah but his real name is Kyle. He was the eye Kenya had on.
"Wassup mami", Kyle said walking towards her locker door.
Kenya looked at him and said, "do I know you?", even though he was pretty attractive.
"No but you do now, I'm Kah but you can call me Kyle, pretty 😏", he said nearly breaking his cool.
"I'm Kenya but I'm sorry I got somewhere to be", Kenya said walking away.
Kyle grabbed her arm and looked her in the eyes and offered to walk her to class. From there on they've gotten to know each other and Kenya didn't mind with Kyle drug dealing.
Weeks past and numbers were exchanged and almost every day they've shared each other company.
Soon later the relationship between Kenya and Kyle, became intense and official. Kyle never brought a girl to meet his mom before. Her name was Karol and she's a very independent woman who loves her son so much.
"Are you sure with this? I mean I'm pretty nervous....would if she doesn't like me?, Kenya said feeling anxious.
"Babe, she'll love you ok. Cmon she's waiting for you", Kyle said before walking Kenya in.
For a drug dealer the house was very clean and organized with a lot of expensive things. Doubt Karol knows about Kyle deals.
Karol walks up to Kyle and hugged him.
"Hi baby", Karol said before scanning Kenya on the side.
"Mom this is Kenya, my girl", Said Kyle showing her to Kenya.
"Hi Mrs.Lyon", Kenya gave a cheap smile almost showing how nervous she is.
"Hi sweetheart", giving her a hug accepting her presence.
"Please sit I'm making teriyaki chicken with friend rice", Karol said showing her to her seat.
"Thank you Mrs.Lyon"
Hours past and Karol so happened to like Kenya. Kenya talked about how good she's doing in school and spoke about herself. Kyle kept quiet most of the time but exchanged a few words here and there.

"Its midnight already", said Karol watching the time.
Kenya looked up at the classic circular clock along with Karol before replying back.
"I suppose it is...I got to go Ms.Lyon, thank you for the amazing meal and all", Kenya said before walking towards the door.
Kyle walked right behind Kenya towards the door.
"OK sweety get home safe and no problem", said Karol giving Kenya a goodbye hug.
Kyle walked Kenya out and spoke about how well she did with his mom.
"Told you she would like you. So what do you want to do right now, you want me to drive you home or you'll be OK?
"I'm glad she does. I think I'll be ok alone beside I don't live far so I'll see you tomorrow morning babe.", Kenya said before giving Kyle a goodbye kiss.
