We got to town a good hour later and the whole way there Jace had his hand on my thigh, creasing it like it was the most normal thing ever.
Which is weird right? Anyways we pulled into a small motel where we would stay the next couple of days until we hit the road again at least
"How about you go into town and grab us some stuff and I'll get us a room" I nodded and he handed me two hundred dollars cash "why are you giving me so much money I'm sure I won't need it all" he gave me a flat look then shook his head and walked away
"What ever" I muttered quietly and started into town.

I got wolf whistles and cat calls bit that was nothing new I got them back home all the time

I walked into this small clothes store and picked out a couple outfits because I couldn't alternate between the same two outfits for the duration of this trip.

I was skimming through the racks when I seen a dress that I could not pass up it was a black and red bodycon dress and the sleeves and the back were black lace it was to cute I had to get it (that's the dress). I picked it up and walked to the register and set the dress down.
"Will that be all Storm" I looked up at the clerk only to see Jules (pronounced jewels) she was one of the girls that hated me in the agency because I am number one and she is number two "what the hell are you doing here?" I whisper yelled  she let out a humorless laugh "Alex just wants to see if you made it to town with Jace or not I'm guessing you did" I was livid first he drugs me then he drops me on the side of the road and now he is sending people to check up on me what the hell
"Look Jules I have everything under control so you can leave and tell Alex to tell his bitches to sit...you do take orders from him right no wait you fucked him for your position as number two huh pussy wasn't good enough for number one " she got all red in the face with anger and embarrassment
"Your lucky Alex is waiting to kill you or I would do so now"
Now that surprised me why would Alex want me dead I was broke out of my thoughts when the bitch started to laugh
"He wants you dead so bad said he was tired of getting brushed of and out shown by your uptight ass I mean why would he go through all this trouble to kill someone taking care of his sick grandmother hr just wants both of you out of the way so he could run things with no one to stop him" I looked at her like and shook my head this bitch was dumb she just gave up his whole plan

"You really are stupid huh you just told me his plan" she stared ate in shock as she realised this then she lunged at me from over the counter but I was expecting this so I side stepped her and watched her dall to the ground "your to predictable" I said laughing she hopped back up and got in a fighting stance which I soon followed one of us was leaving in a body bag and it won't be me.

She swung at me and hit me in my chest which I quickly retaliated back hitting her in the face making her stumble and leaving her dazed I didn't give her a chance to recover as  I went in on her my hits coming to fast for her dumb ass to comprehend and not before long that bitch was on the ground out cold for a finale punch to her temple
I found a box cutter and quickly slit her throat hitting the two major veins in her neck as she bled out I reapplied my lipstick and pressed a kiss to her forehead and took a picture of us both with me smiling with my thumb at the base of my throat and sent it to Alex from her phone captioning the picture your bitch is dead ready or not here I come.
I set the building on fire grabbed my dress and walked to another store for food like nothing happened. When I was about a block I head an explosion and then I seen a firetruck fly by me and let out a small chuckle and walked into a market And got me and Jace some necessities for the next few days before we get to the next town

I got back to the hotel and and see Jace pacing back and fourth on the balcony by the door with an irritated look on his face I walked up the stairs and walked up to him
"What the hell is wrong with you can't you go anywhere and not kill anyone"  I looked at him and rolled my eyes "it was me of her and I chose me she was sent by Alex I know why he wants to kill you and me"
He looked like I just told him I lay chocolate eggs and sell them to kids " what the hell do you mean kill you I thought he just wanted to kill me" I shock my head "lets take this inside we can't talk about this in the open"
He nodded and turned towards the door then hesitated "about the room we have one issue" he said with a uneasy look on his face
I gave a sarcastic smirk "what is there only one bed or something" he grimaced a little and nodded  my amused smirk fell and turned to one of disbelief "are you serious"
He scratched the back of his neck "its all they had left" I nodded "whatever it wouldn't be the first time I shared a bed with a stranger" he looked mad but then opened the door I was shocked at what I seen the room was covered ceiling to floor in.....
