{Chapter Three}

Brooklyn pov

What the heck just happened? Why did he kiss me? I sit at a café waiting for Liam when my head starts to spin.

Liam walks over and sits a crossed from me. "the hell is wrong with you? you look drunk?" I reply "I wish I was." He looks at me confused "I may or may not be getting married." he says "you get married... to who?" I reply under my breath "Jai."  He laughs "the guy you can't stand? How the hell did that happen?" I reply "Liam seriously listen to me because I need your advice. Jai needs his green card, and the only way is if he gets married and Ellie is begging me to marry him." he replies "so he proposed?" I reply "no, I kinda did." He replies "you kinda did?" I nod "I did" and he asks "so what did he say?" I reply "he said that he is the one that is supposed to propose not me. then he asked why than I told him I had errands to run and then he kissed me." he spits out his tea "HE KISSED YOU?" I nod with red cheeks of embarrassment. He laughs then asks "did you get your answer?" I reply "no. and stop laughing." He smiles "I can't help it you hate his guts and you asked him to marry you." I give him 'im going to kill you look' when my phone goes off I look down and it him, it's Jai.

"Uhh hello? I say into my phone, Liam sipping his Tea. "Hey Brooklyn, look if your serious about marring me then meet me at my apartment tomorrow so we can get the ball rolling." I reply "so soon?" I say he replies "Ell didn't tell you, I have to get married within two weeks." I look at Liam who looks at me because my mouth is hung open. "You there?" Jai say on the line. I swallow hard and say "yeah, I work tomorrow, I get off at 3." He replies "3 it is. see you later financee." I hang up and look at Liam with disgust. "what's wrong?" Liam asks I reply "I have to get married within two weeks." He starts laughing. I look at him "I'm sorry, but how are you going to plan a wedding within two weeks?" I reply "it's not funny, what am I getting myself into?" he replies "maybe it wont be so bad. I bet the sex will be off the chain though." I look at him and say "Hell no that anit happening. I'm just marring him. I will not sleep with him." he replies "we'll see. We'll see."

I head back to my house when I open the door, Ell comes running over and screaming "YAY!" I just stand there like a manikin while she is squeezing me. "so he told you." I finally get out after she stops squeezing me to death. She replies "yes he called me." I walk into my bedroom and sit on my bed. "I am so happy to finally get to call you my sister!" I just look at her and say "I HAVE TO GET MARRIED WITHING TWO WEEKS?" she replies "yeah about that. I was telling Jai you guys could just go to the court house and get married there and then you can have a fancy wedding at a later date." I reply "I guess a court wedding wouldn't be so bad and that way only my family and Liam can see me marry him." she replies "I bet you two will fall in love and have a few babies and live happily ever after." I look at her and pretend to gag. "you and Liam both can think and hope all you want I am not sleeping with him. I will marry him but I am not sleeping with him." she replies "will see about that." I shake my head 'no.'

The next day, after a super busy day at work I head over to Jai's apartment. I knock on the door "Jai it's me." I say I hear on the other side "Come in my Fiancée." I turn the knob and walk in he is sitting on the couch with his laptop on his lap. I walk over to him "Sit." He says to me. I walk over and sit next to him leaving space between us. "How was your day?" he asks I reply "busy, my feet are killing me." he just looks at me "so I was thinking maybe we could get married at the court house and have a real wedding at a later day." I nod "sounds fine." He replies "ok. But first we have to come out as boyfriend and girlfriend to the public." I look at him "why?" he replies "because, they will know you are only marring me for my green card and if my fans found out they would be upset." "so you would rather lie then tell the true to your fans?" I question he replies "it's not quit a lie, it's a fib." I just look at him. "so like cuddle up to me and I'll post a pic of us to my Instagram with a cute caption." I look at him like 'are you serious going to do this' he says "Brooklyn, please." I sigh and scoot close to him I lay my head on his shoulder. He pulls out his phone and wraps his arm around me and lays it on my waist. He snaps the picture. I sit up right away and move over. He shows me the picture and I just nod, knowing he is asking me if I thing it's ok to post. He begins to type the 'cute' caption. My phone starts to ring I dig through my purse looking for my phone, once I find it I answer it "hello Mr. Denis.. I'm kinda in the middle of something.. sure I'll be there." I hang up and let out a irritated sigh "What's wrong?" jai asks I reply "our client flew in early so I have to go to a meeting at 4." Jai reply "why does he need you, why can't he have the meeting without you?" I reply with a chuckle "like he would ever do anything without me. I'm surprise he goes to the bathroom without me." Jai reply's "well when we get married, you aren't just going to go running in because he can't handle a meeting. Look and see if this is okay." He hands me his phone and I nod with a small smile. 'cuddling with my beautiful girlfriend is my favorite.' He smiles at me and says "you sure about this because once I post this everyone and there family will know we are a couple." I nod confidently. He hits the 'post' button and sets his phone down. "so what after we get married we are we staying?" I look at him he continues "Brooklyn we have to move in together." Im about to say something when Jai's phone starts blowing up. "well the world knows." He says I reply "I guess my house, this apartment is too small." He replies "no let's move in here and then we can buy a bigger house together. Besides I don't want to live next store to my parents, their be over all the times, how are we going to make babies." He says with a chuckle I reply "uhh I hope you know I'm not sleeping with you or having babies with you." he replies "your going to be my wife? Why not?" I reply "because, I promised to marry you not fall in love with you and have children with you." he replies "we can always talk about that later after the wedding." I say gritting my teeth "there isn't anything to talk about, there will be no sex between me and you." he just shakes his head. "Jai I am serious."  He looks at me with a smirk "we'll see." I roll my eyes and says "your already annoying me." he replies "get used to it babe. Why are you afraid?" I look down at me hands and say "I think I should be going." He replies "no. why do you always run away when I ask you questions?" I reply "I'm not I have to be at the meeting at 4 remember." He says "Brooklyn, babe you can tell me, we are getting married." I reply "no. we are getting married because you need your green card, not because I love you so therefor I don't have to tell you anything." I stand up and he jumps out of his seat like he is on fire. "Are you a virgin?" I pick up my bag "I am leaving I'll see you later I guess." He replies "I knew it, you are." I turn around on my heals and reply "it's none of your business if I am or not." He replies "babe, we are getting married It technically is my business." I lose it and raise my voice "IT DOESN'T MATTER IM NOT HAVING SEX WITH YOU!! WHY DO YOU KEEP BRINGING THIS UP, YOU HATE ME." he replies stepping towards me "Brooklyn is that what you think, I hate you?" I grab the knob on the door getting ready to walk out when the knob turns and the door opens.  "I AM SO HAPPY!" Jai's mom pulls me into a hug I hug back and smile. Jai's dad walks in behind and smiles and says "welcome to the family, for real." I just smile.
