I used to be the robot captain of the 19th precinct. The police station has gone a long way since then. But because I was the only robot with emotions ( and that's kind of a problem), my feelings often got entangled with my work and didn't do me much good. So needless to say, I got demoted a few months later and my higher ups became ruthless oil drinking heartless robots. It hurt, but it was nothing compared to the blow I received next.

One fine day, I was told that my services were no longer required. Apparently, I was not exactly what was needed to solve crimes. They removed the rest of the information of the confidential cases out of my memory card and then....they chucked me out.

I was walking, looking for a reason, a hope to live on. My dream job had been taken away from me.

I looked for justice but it never came. I looked for rescue but it was not to be found.

I applied for a job in two more precincts but I was denied one because I had " feelings "

So I continued on my lonely journey, going where ever destiny led me, trying to find a place of my own in a cruel world.

I didn't know who I really was or what I was I made for. I didn't know where I was heading, but I kept walking, walking straight into the sunset, looking for a purpose, trying not to be worthless. Then the dusk overshadowed and the night was on.

I was so lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice an oncoming truck. Probably thinking that I was just a scarecrow or thinking that I would move, he didn't slow down or slam the brakes. He rammed straight into me and I flew and fell into the trees.

The rest was all blurry.

Alas, I discovered later that I'd suffered from a head injury and half my memory card had been destroyed ( I was told this later on, incase you are wondering how I know this).

A couple of days later, when I got up, I found myself outside an arena of some sort.

I ventured in.
