The man laughed as if he didn't believe Alexander. "You are too weak to be anything close to the crimson reaper I have to admit that was a cute magic trick." Alexander burned in anger his eye glowing more then ever. "I don't care if you are my father or a warrior I hate you!" Max just kept laughing but Alexander wasn't done. "What do think I did after school? I was an outcast until my master took me in. He is known as the black reaper. I am now a dog and I work for the king for when my master died the Plague killed him and took his power. Then with Anna we hunted Plague down he killed Anna and carved me up, then I killed him his power is in my right eye." Alexander spit each heartbreaking word his eye growing brighter. He flicked the hair out of his eye reveling the blood red and and black star inside where his iris should be. Max unsheathed his broad sword. "Son I will not hesitate to kill you." "Neither will I." Alexander said through gridded teeth spinning his scythe the same way he did the night before. Fire burst out of the scares in his arms Atari began shaking in fear. So this is magic she thought. "They don't call me the crimson reaper for nothing." Alexander sneered his right eye also catching on fire. Max laughed still taking Alexander as a joke. "You really think you can take me on? A general of the kings army?" "Yes you may be a general but I am a spy." In the blink of an eye Alexander shot into the air his back skimming the ceiling. Max went to block his attack with the flat side of his sword but wasn't expecting Alexander to land on his sword feet first. Kicking max in the face Alexander flipped off the sword landing as if was nothing. His father was panting and leaning against his sword. "Oh come on! I thought you were a proud general not an old man who can't hold his own against a weakling like myself." Alexander sighed, his scythe disappeared and flames blown out. "Well next time I will kill you for sure this is a warning, do not underestimate my skills old man." With that Alexander took Atari's hand and walked out of the house. He pulled Atari close like he did before she could still feel the heat on his arms even though he had a cloak on. When they got back the entire place was a mess. Everything was torn to shreds thankfully everything was still there. Alexander put on a new shirt and sleeves. "I knew they would come we have to get out of here." He murmured grabbing a few things. Then they were off again the horses were still there they were smart enough not to keep the horses in the stable. They took off not knowing someone was close behind.
"So Sara has now been following them." Hissed the voice, "hopefully she can keep up."
Atari was working hard, her goal was to beat Alexander. He had taught her to fight of the weeks and she was improving daily. He made Atari mad, he would tease her during a fight and never break eye contact. She had a plan kick high then spin and take out his knees, he would never see it coming. She started to carry out her plan, lifting her leg into side-kick. Another thing that made her mad he knew every move she made. He caught her leg and didn't let go. She tried to beak free but Alexander didn't let go. He didn't break eye contact but an evil smile escapes his lips letting go of her leg. "You pervert!" Atari yelled dropping on the ground. "You're the one who kicked so high in a skirt." "You picked it out." She yelled back burning with anger. "Of you don't want your enemies to see down there you have to learn to be quicker." Alexander leaned against a tree still smiling. An arrow flew past Alexander's face and he caught it. A note was attached to it and it read.
So you have the princess quite interesting. You should remember me. The soul with no body and a dead little girl? I figured you did well I have a new body now. And all her memories. You two were really close...
"What was her name, oh that's right. Anna." Came a female voice from the direction of the arrow. A young women came out she had perfect features tall thin blue eyes and short brown hair. Pure hate burned in Alexander eyes. "How dare you Sara. You can't take her body!" He yelled, Atari could see the dullness in Anna's eye. Even if there was a soul in her body her she was slowly decaying. "Yes I can you would not hurt your Anna now would you?" She laughed brushing out her hair. "Anna is dead and I am not afraid to rip out your soul. Anna should have stayed dead." Atari had never seen such hate in anyone before. "Oh and Emulcli, he is looking forward to taking back what is his." Sara's eyes wandered to Atari and looked her over. "Oh so you didn't tell her the truth?" She laughed focusing back on Alexander. "She longs for you, you know that? Part of her is still on this shell and she wants to be close to you again, I can feel it." With that she vanished. "What truth? What is she talking about Alexander?" Atari asked Alexander refused to look at her. "You can't go cross country it's not safe. I am training you to become an assassin and you will become the Sorcerers Death. I have planed to someone to train you in magic and you will become one of us." The words stabbed her heart, "No," she whispered, "I can't take a life, or do witchcraft I refuse to." "You have no other choice, what Sara said before, you are Emulcli's daughter and he wants you back. I was assigned to kill him in the kings presents but he made a deal you, for his life. Now he know you contain the sorcerers power, he wants you back to over throw the king." Alexander's concern grew with every word he spoke, his whole body language changed, like a darkness spread around in him, and sadness in his eyes. Atari could tell seeing Anna's body hurt his entire being. "If I am so powerful, then why haven't I been able to discover this power before?" Atari asked still sitting on the cold grass and puts a hand over her chest. "Someone needs to awaken it from its slumber. I must ask, have you ever kissed someone before." Alexander's expression didn't change. Over the weeks he would tease her with questions like this one, but she knew he was serious. "No." She muttered and looked away. "Well we can start there." Alexander said walking toward her hands in his pockets and leaned down, they would be nose to nose but she refused to look at Alexander. A smile escaped Alexander's lips. "It would help if you looked at me." Atari glared at him through the corner of her eye. "No."
