A/N Oh my god, guys, I suck. Like seriously just reach through your computer or whatever and punch me! I haven't updated in like 3 weeks, like I  seriously hate myself right now. I promise from now on, I'm posting every Friday! Or at least try to, I started this story in the summer, but now I'm a Freshman in high school. This year has been crazy! But anyway, here's Chapter 17, there's only gonna be about 5-10 chapters left of this story! But I love you guys😘

Farkle's POV
"She said to me: Forget what you thought. 'Cause good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught. So just turn around and forget what you saw. Cause good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught."

"Hey watch it!" I heard a deep voice behind me say. I turned around to see a tall guy with brown hair with blonde highlights, a blue suit to match his piercing eyes, and a flushed, unblemished face. As he turned to face Smackle and I, who were previously dancing, his unnaturally blue eyes widened.

Damn.

"Izzy?" He asked, breathlessly.

"W-what are you doing here?" She asked kind of freaking out.

"I could ask you the same thing. I'm here with a few of my friends that go here."

"Smackle who is this? And how do you know him?" I asked, completely lost. Huh, that's a first. Ok, that's a lie. When it comes to girls, I'm completely oblivious.

"Uh, I met him at school."

"I'm Brett." He says bluntly.

"You got a last name... Brett?"

"Uh..." He looked up, thinking and scratched the back of his head. Really?
"Brett.... Brett!" He exclaimed.

"Your name is Brett Brett?"

"Umm..." He trailed off, looking at Smackle for help.

"It's a complicated last name!" She defends him.

"Says the girl named Isadora Smackle." I argued.

"You know this guy from Einstein Academy? Really, are you kidding me." She shakes her head no. Wow, this kid really goes to a school named after the smartest guy on the history of the world. My idol. This idiot (excuse my language) goes to that school?!

Then he replies with two simple words that explain this entire flip of the universe:
"Football Scholarship." He says, nodding proudly.

"It also helps that his dad is Dean of Einstein Academy." She whispered, pulling me by the arm.

"So... Brett, who are your friends." I asked, curiously.

"Um, Billy, and the baseball team..." Of freaking course.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, turning to her now. I still don't know this guy's "complicated" last name.

"I..." She starts. "I'm kinda on here as Farkle's date." She says, quietly, looking at the ground.

"What? You're here with another guy while we're dating?"

"You're what?" I shouted. They're what?

" Look, I'm sorry, Brett. But he means nothing to me." She told him. No. She can't mean that, can she?

"Ok." He smiles. I'll see you later. After you ditch the dork." He says, glancing at me. The frick did he just say?

"Oh, you little shit..." I mumbled as I walked after him, but Smackle pulled me back by my collar. "The hell was that? Smackle, did you really mean that? You're dating him? I... I really mean nothing to you?"

"Unfortunately, Farkle, I meant every word. At one point, you meant everything to me, but nothing lasts forever. Remember that."

"What? What are you talking about?"

"I think you know. If you really don't know deep down, I really can't help you." She says, and with that she walks away, out of my life.

What just happened?
