We all laugh as we enjoy our McDonalds around the table. We had been drinking a bit and you could say Theo and I were a tad tipsy at the moment. I had Big Mac in my mouth threatening to spit out from all he laughter. It was Theo, Alisha and I. How it's been lately. And I don't mind one bit.

We've got like our own squad going on. We are always hanging at Alisha's house having fun. And don't think we are weird for hanging with Alisha's dad. He is cooler than the average dad.

"Oh my god!" Alisha screeches. Mine and Theo's heads whip to her. "Adam just told me he wants to go to the 'place'."

"The 'place'?" Theo asks.

"It's pretty much where every girl gets asked out. It's sort of a tradition." I say. "So anyway, what are you waiting for?? Go!!!!" I say excitingly.

She squeals and jumps up, "I'll see you guys later." She says grabbing her keys and running out the front door. We chuckle at her, she's crazy, but I'm happy for her.

"Awh she's about to get her first boyfriend." I coo.

"I wish I could say I was happy." Theo says with a straight face. I laugh and shake my head. "Don't you dare scare that boy away."

"Oh god we sound like her parents," he laughs. I laugh and then I realise what he said. That made me blush furiously.

"So what about you?" He asks.

"What about me what?" I ask, popping another chip in my mouth.

"Do you have a boyfriend that I don't know about?" He chuckles.

"Ohhh," I reply. "Nah I don't. Never had one actually."

He seemed so shocked about that. "No way! You haven't had a boyfriend before??" He asks.

"Nope." I reply.

"How could you not? Look at you!" He says. His face went bright red realising what he said. "Uh I-I mean, you're gorgeous. I've always thought that. I'm just shocked." He coughs to cover it up.

I blush, "well thank you,"

"So does that means you haven't had your first k—" I cut him off.

"Don't remind me. It's embarrassing," I laugh. "17 and never been kissed. Should be a new reality TV show. Meet Ella Thompson. The 17 year old that's never been kissed." I throw my hands up in the air. Theo just starred cracking up, "wow Ella. It's not something to be embarrassed about. I didn't have my first kiss till I was 20. I was an ugly mother fucker before I hit 19." He chuckles.

I laugh, "I highly doubt that!" Taking another drink.

"No seriously. Lemme get some photos." He says getting up and walking over to a big photo album on the shelf. He walks back over to me and starts flicking through the photos. "Aw you were so cute when you were younger. What happened?" I tease.

He fake hurts, "it just happened, I can't help it." We both start laughing. "I'm
joking. You're cuter now." I smile.

Oh shit these drinks are making me
say things.

"Not as cute as you." He winks.

"Aw well aren't you nice!" I blush.

He smiles and takes another sip of his drink. God he looked so hot.

"So I look hot?" He smirks.

"Oh my god." I face palm. "I wasn't meant to say that out loud. Just kill me."

"I would do what you said if you said 'kiss me'." He smiles cheekily.

"Oh really now??" I tease. "Fine. Kiss me." I say.

"I couldn't think of anything better." He whispers as he moves closer. He cups my cheek and leans in, my heart was racing but because of my intake of alcohol, I wasn't thinking straight. If I was sober I know this would be wrong. But now, I don't care. I just wanted to kiss him so badly.

Our lips were mere millimetres away when Alisha bursts through the door. We were quick to pull apart and it seemed she hadn't seen anything.

Thank god.

Theo and I looked at each other when the realisation hit of what we were about to do.

I was just about to kiss him.

I was about to kiss my best friends dad.

Am I ducking crazy??

But you wanted to.

Bitch don't tell your self to shut up.

I roll my eyes at myself and look up at Alisha, trying to pretend nothing happened. "So what happened??" I asked.

"He asked me to be his girlfriend!" She squeals. I squeal and jump up engulfing her in a hug. "I'm so happy for you!!!"

"Just pinch me so I know I'm not dreaming." She sighs. I pinch her and she shrieks, "ow!"

I give her a cheeky smile but she brushes it off quickly and sighs in admiration. "He's just perfect."

"I'll be upstairs. Just going to have a shower." Alisha says running upstairs.

That left me and Theo. I avoided eye contact with him. I just felt was too awkward now.

"Ella." Theo says. I sigh and look at him. "I-I'm sorry for that. It was a spur of the moment. That shouldn't of happened."

"U-uh no it's fine. I-I'll just be upstairs. Goodnight Theo." I stutter. Fuck.

"Goodnight El."
