A Thug and His Girl

Part 29

I saw my uncle at the door. I hurried up and gave him a hug. I had tears in my eyes and I hugged him for a real long time. When my dad left he stepped up to taking the role of my dad. I was really grateful for him and he wasn't trying to take my dad's place he was just there helping me with stuff I needed but then he left because he went to the Marines so seeing him again was awesome. I felt like a piece of me that was missing was.back again and I loved the feeling.

"Oh my goodness I can't believe you're here right now. When did you get back?"

"I got back home Tuesday and then I flew out here with you're mother and the rest of the family"

"Zaye did you know that?"

"Yea that's why I changed the day we got here from Friday to Tuesday. You were in the shower when your mom called and I answered the phone and she told me that he was going to be here"

"Wow this trip just cannot get any better. Well I'm gonna go downstairs and speak to everyone"

"Oh she has no idea for what's about to happen", Zaye mumbled.

"What you say babe?"

"Nothing important come on let's go see everyone. I know they gonna want to see that big old boulder I put on yo finger". We both started laughing Nd walked downstairs holding hands.

When we walked down we walked to the ballroom which was completely remade. When I was first in there to meet Zaye it was completely empty and now its made over with food, tables, centerpieces and everything. It looks like a wedding reception and it was beautiful.

"Aunt Debbie", I looked around and I saw my baby Jacoby running to me.

"Jacoby" I picked him up and I walked over to Renee, Lauren, and Zeke.

"Hey girl let me see the ring" Renne told me as I gave all of them a hug.

I put Jacoby down so he could eat and I walked around talking to everyone. Zaye was right beside me but I lost him in the big crowd. I saw Brionna and I had to ask her a question.

"Brionna were you at the store yesterday?"

"Yes you saw me"

"Yea I saw you but I was looking at you when you were walking out the store so I didn't really see your face"

"Oh we all were supposed to be in hiding but I got hungry and I had to go get me something to eat"

"Oh what you get?"

"Chicken nuggets" we both said at the same time. We started laughing and then I walked off to talk to everyone else.

The rest of the night we all just talked, danced to all kind of music, and of course ate until we couldn't eat anymore. There were a lot of leftovers so my mom and cousins just had to take as much if it as they could and they had the boys in the family carry it to the car. I eventually got tired and I wanted to go back to the hotel room but I couldnt find Zaye anywhere so I started looking around for him.

About 25 minutes of asking, and walking around looking for Zaye I finally found him.

"Hey fiance what you doing out here by yourself?", I asked him walking up to him.

"I'm just sitting out here thinking and getting some piece and quiet from everyone"

"Oh you want me to leave and catch up with you a little later"

"See that's why I love you if it was someone else they would've just came over here talking when I really do need some time by myself"

"I love you too and tell me when you're ready I'm getting a little tired"

"Alright I'll be there in a few"

I went back inside to get something to drink and I looked over at Jada and she was drinking some Tequila.

"Girl what are you doing"

"I am having soo much fun you look so beautiful new bride to be", she said sounding drunk.

"Okay how much have you had to drink?"

"I had some Tequila, margaritas, and then I left with Trina and we went to a bar and I had some beer, Hennessey, Siroc, a few shots & this one drink called the Incredible Hulk girl I feel so great and this party is tha bomb.

"Umm no ma'am where is Don?"

"You know I really don't know but I need another drink"

"No you don't let's go we need to find Don"

We walked around looking for Don and then we saw him talking to my cousin Tim.

"Don can you take Jada back to the hotel she had way to much to drink"

"Who was she drinking with?", he said grabbing her hand.

"She said she went to the bar with Trina so I'm guessing her but I haven't seen her in a couple of hours"

"Oh well I got you we finna leave and I'll see you later"

"Alright bye you guys", I gave them a hug and watched them walk out the door.

"Congratulations again Debbie.", Renee said walking up to me.

"Thank-you so much"

"No problem well I guess I'm gonna have to catch up with you later beause I need to put Jacoby down so he can go to sleep and Lauren can go to bed"

"Alright thanks for coming", I gave her, Lauren and Zeke a hug, Jacoby was already knocked out so I didn't get to tell him bye.

I walked to a table and I went to sit down becuase I didn't want my feet to hurt. As it got late everyone was walking up to me telling me congratulations and then they left. I started playing with my phone until I realized I was the only one there and the people.that worked there were cleaning up.

I was getting more and more tired and I hadn't heard from him in 2 hours so I walked outside to see Zaye give me another surprise.
