(WARNING: Not all of the parts I write may relate to you, so I'll try to be brief with them. If they don't relate, feel free to scan through that particular part. Thank you!)
My friends and I are back in (location name), back home from Pax East. I can still feel the happiness flowing in my veins.
I am beyond proud of myself for not fangirling in front of the men. The butterflies in my stomach stayed down most of the time, if not the whole time! Wow.
My friends had insisted that I'd flip out eventually, especially the one friend of mine that actually ships myself and Mark. I'm happy to say that I proved them wrong.
Here I am now, playing Rage Against the Gladiator, an amazing, underrated WiiWare game. I choose the final boss, Creatos, a large red dragon.
I've already beaten the game fully, but that doesn't keep me from enjoying it. It's a family game to me.
My dad first got it sometime when my family was still together. I remember watching him fail at beating Ixthid! Ah, good times. My mom and I loved to watch it, and so did my younger sibling.
After about ten minutes of beating creatures with an powerful, mace-like weapon, I closed the game to return to my Wii U menu.
I receive a text from one of my friends, telling me Mark had just started a live stream and said that he might do Omegle again, like the other occasion(s).
I quickly pull up the live stream, where he's still in the middle of welcoming viewers.
'Gosh, I really hope he does Omegle,' I think to myself. 'I mean, whatever he's going to do is perfectly fine, but I'd love to talk to him again.'
"Many of you have requested for me to use Omegle again, and I am happy to announce that I will do so....now!" he declares, clicking to his first lucky fan right after saying "now".
I frantically reach for my laptop (that I totally have), sign in, and open Omegle. Even if it's going to be two hours before I actually reach him, I'm seeing Mark...well, I'll try.
I feel happy for the people who had actually gotten a hold of him. They were fans that truly appreciated his work and expressed their appreciation. After seeing several fans connecting to me, I feel a little discouraged. They were nice, and one of them even talked to me for a few minutes, but we all knew we came to see Mark's silly face on our screens at home, saying hi to us, and only us.
"Alright! Thank you for joining me on Omegle! Buh-bye!" Mark switches to another person.
For each person that I've met, I start by waving a greeting. This was no different, except that (Mark's color hair) and bright, playful eyes actually show up.
"Oh my gosh!" I whisper, still waving.
Mark waves back with his charming grin. "Hi! Omg!" (He's done this before where he kinda copies his fan's reaction, so that's what I mean by this.)
My hands instinctively cover my face. I keep myself from tearing up, since I am wearing makeup. "Hi!"
"Yes! Hello!" Mark's still waving at me. From somewhere offscreen, he pulls out the Bowser plushie I had given him not too long ago. "Hi!" he says in a Bowser-like voice (like his Santaplier voice). "I'm Boser! Look at me! So evil and strong! Rawr!"
"Bowser! Wait...you remember me?"
"Now come on, (Y/N)! It was just a few days ago. Our memory isn't that bad!" Mark grins. "Hello," he mumbles into his microphone, just like at Pax East.
"Why hello there," I murmur back, wiggling my eyebrows. Or something like that.
"Mhm, yes, hello. Welcome to the world's calmest Omegle chat."
"I forgot to ask you a question at Pax East, so I was thinking I could maybe ask it now?"
"Sure!" Mark smiles at the camera in anticipation.
"Eh...would you actually consider, when you're ready, of course, dating a fan of yours? I know from previous Let's Plays that you're currently not interested, but I still felt like asking."
"Heh, you know...it mostly depends on their age. I'm not going to jail because someone several years younger than me was a fangirl and I actually dated them. Well....not mostly age, but that's a part of it. There's also personality. As many of you know-" He turns to the live stream camera. "-I got out of a long-term relationship not too long ago. I've also said that one breakup, the reason was cheating. Sad, I know, because who would ever cheat on the dorky Markimoo?" Sarcasm. "I'd need to really trust this person and have a strong connection with them. They'd also have to deal with my stupidity." Here he goes again, talking about his lack of smarts, facing upward toward his ceiling. His giggle was still cute.
"I think it's funny, and many of us do," I say as I try to comfort him. My tone is serious, though. "You've shown your love for your fans, more than most other YouTubers. That's why so many of us consider you as our favorite YouTuber! You're funny, charismatic, and generous, giving to charity as much as you can, even if it's like the Mario Maker Challenge(s). You're more real to some of us than our own family. You're honest with your viewers. You read through as many comments as you can, try to reach out to fans as much as you can, like right now! I'll stop going on and on, but you mean so much to us, Mark."
"And you guys mean so much to me." Mark smiles. "Thank you for joining me on Omegle." However, he doesn't close off right away. Everyone watching hears him as he's typing away on his keyboard.
It reads, "It really means a lot to me what you've said. Feel free to find me on my Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc., but I'd really like for you to text me: (phone number). ;D"
"Buh-bye!" Mark closes off, but I'm able to get a picture of the number just before he leaves. My heart feels lighter than a balloon. I'd never had been so cheerful in my life.
