Aubrey Kahlo Wright
Present Day - April 20, 2016 - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

"So far Russell Westbrook has struggled tonight and we talked to Coach Billy Donovan at halftime." Aubrey Wright spoke into the microphone as she looked at the camera in front of her. "He said that in this second half, the Thunder need to slow down the pace of the Cavaliers to be able to hit shots and find open players. I asked him whose presence needs to be felt tonight, and with an injured Kevin Durant on the bench, his answer was .. well, the whole team. Mark,"

Watching as the camera man nodded and lifted the camera from his shoulder, Aubrey sighed and nodded. She collected her microphone and the paper she had placed on the court before making her way back to her seat right behind the basket at the media table. She was exhausted to say the least, and after trying to find someone to interview before halftime, it was even worse.

After a long night with little sleep, Aubrey managed to stay awake for the game by the power of coffee. So far she her reports had been energetic, but energetic was the last thing that she felt at the moment. Luckily she had one report left in the night, that was scheduled anyway, before the game ended. All that she wanted to do was go to bed and do a bit of relaxing, but with her luck, she was actually scheduled to hop on a flight to Portland after the game.

Sitting down in her seat, Aubrey watched as the second half came to a start. She placed everything back onto the small table and watched closely, writing small notes on her paper like stats or any other little things that she should bring up in her next report.

Checking her texts during a quick timeout, Aubrey noticed that her sister Ashton had sent her a text; Just saw your last report. Also your makeup is so on fleek tonight wtf keep it up girl Aubrey laughed and locked her phone before standing up and walking to the side of the court for her next report.

It was near ten o'clock when the Thunder and Cavaliers game came to an end, with Oklahoma City closing out with a tight win. Aubrey had to do a quick post-game interview with Russell Westbrook, who came back in the second half to put the Thunder back up on top and get the win, and then she was free for the night. She attended the post-game press conference for quotes before leaving the arena.

Aubrey slid into her rental car and placed her bag into the passenger seat before pulling out of the back-arena parking. She slid her phone and media pass into the seat before placing the keys into the ignition and starting the engine. Within a few minutes she had pulled out of the parking lot and was heading towards Will Rogers World Airport.

Aubrey didn't have time to take off her makeup, change out of her uncomfortable clothes, or barely even breathe as she rushed to the airport in time to catch her flight. She had to turn her car into the rental place, take a shuttle to the airport itself, and then check into her flight. Luckily she had learned how to run in heels and also get through TSA in minutes. When she made it to terminal 3F with nearly twenty minutes to spare, she slipped into the bathroom and changed out of her dress into a pair of NIKE sweats and a thin tee before stepping out of the stall.

Aubrey rolled her suitcase next to the sink in where she stopped at, and she looked at herself in the mirror. With the exception of her hair, she looked a mess. She had been in four different cities in five days, and gotten less than ten hours of sleep in three days. She missed the days of waking up in her own bed and having at least an hour to herself that didn't involve an airplane or rental car. It seemed like those days were long over when she was on the road.

Quickly throwing her thick hair into a sloppy (and ugly) bun on top of her head, Aubrey grabbed the handle of her bag and walked out of the bathroom. She walked over to the terminal and chose a seat near the desk and against the wall. She pulled out her phone and checked to see if her reservations and things were still in tact. The flight she was about to board would be heading to Portland, and there she had a rental car waiting and a one-night reservation in a downtown hotel for her. She sighed happily and slid her phone back into her pocket.
