                                                                                ***Chris’s POV***

“Jason, I’m worried about his eye. It’s swollen shut,” mom said in worry. I glared with my good eye. “I’m fine mom!” I snapped. “I’m going to Jay’s house,” I grumbled and got up.

“You are not driving when you can only see out of one eye Christopher! I’ll bring you and you can call me if you need a ride,” dad said. I got in the car with him and he dropped me off at Jay’s house.

I knocked on the door and he led me up to his room. “What the hell happened to your eye?” he asked, trying not to laugh. He probably already guessed what had happened.

“BJ being a little fucker,” I grumbled. “Did you hit him?” I laughed a little. “Looked like I broke his nose. He’ll be fine.”

I sighed. “Dude, we need to get Jarvis away from Ali. She’s fucking with his head. Yea, he’s always had anger issues and yea, he snaps at us. But never this bad. BJ never hurt me this bad before. I swear she’s controlling him. She hates me, he’s starting to hate me.”

Jay shrugged. “He’s whipped. And he has kids Chris,” he said. I panicked a little inside. Hell, I might have a kid too if I didn’t use a condom at that party. Shit. I was trying to get my mind off that. Man, fuck it. I wasn’t going to let myself get whipped like BJ.

Jay grabbed his iPod and starting playing Angry Zombies. “Jay, will you fucking listen to me?!” I cried angrily. He glanced at me in amusement. “What’s shoved up your ass?”

“That iPod’s going to be shoved up your if you don’t listen to me!” I snapped. He laughed as he played. “Chris, chill the fuck out. Ben has kids. Maybe him being whipped ain’t fun, but it ain’t necessarily a bad thing if you would stop being selfish for 5 damn seconds.”

“Jesus Christ do you always have to say ain’t?!” I said in annoyance. He smirked. “It ain’t a problem.” It pissed me off when Jay said ain’t.

“I’m hungry. Let’s get food,” he said and stood up. I followed him down to his kitchen and he tossed me a soda and pulled out a bag of chips.

“Jay, don’t eat chips before dinner,” his step mom said in annoyance as she walked in. “My dad ain’t coming home to make dinner,” Jay said with a shrug. “And don’t say ain’t!” she snapped.

“Thank you! Someone agrees with me!” I cried. She nodded. “It’s annoying as fuck Jay!” I said, shaking my head angrily. He grinned at both of us. “I ain’t gonna stop.”

“Back to Ben. Just leave him alone Chris. You’re too selfish. His kids need him to be a little mature. You can’t get mad at him just because he’s trying to abandon partying.” I glared. “I’m mad that he sticks up for that bitch over us!”

“Chris, that bitch is his girlfriend and the mother of his 2 kids!” Jay cried. “Jay, we talked about this when she was pregnant! Ben wasn’t meant to be a father!” Jay bit his lip. “You’re right. But at least he’s trying and not just abandoning his kids like mine and Hanley’s moms abandoned us or like how Ben’s dad left him when he was a kid.”

“Look, I love the twins. I don’t have any problems with the boys. I don’t have a problem with Ben. It’s Ali I have a problem with. I just want to get him the fuck away from her,” I said, trying to keep my voice calm.

Jay stared at me curiously. “Chris…if you break them up, what happens to the twins?” I shrugged. “Don’t know. They can stay with Ali on the week days and Ben on the weekends? BJ doesn’t have as much work on the weekends. It would actually be better for him.”

“But it might make him upset Chris. Jesus, if he tried to take your eye out, imagine what he would do if you broke him and the bitch up.” I smirked and he frowned. “Chris, come on. He’s happy with her. Leave him alone.”

I shook my head. “I’m just watching out for him Jay. He’s my best friend. Trust me, I know what I’m doing. He’ll thank me eventually,” I said, smirking wider. Oh yea. I would break up Ben and Ali. I had a perfect plan.
