I wake up to the realization that I fell asleep before the beautiful stranger came back.
But I know he has been here due to the evidence of a blanket and a plate with a dinner placed on it.
I know he won't be back soon so I decide to take this as my chance to reexamine the single window in the room.
I walk over to its presence and rap lightly on it, repeating the steps I took yesterday. After I am finished I come to a conclusion it is common window glass, and it is easily broken.
His magnetic presence is not here, so I am no longer compelled to stay. I look around for an object to smash the glass and make my escape.
I notice that the plate is metal so I pick it up, spilling its contents onto the floor. I jog over to the window, knowing he will be back soon, and bang the plate on the window with all the strength I can muster. After a few swings, it cracks, and with one more hit, the window shatters.
He has surely heard the commotion, so I climb up to the window and shimmy arms-first through the small opening.
I slide through easily, with my small frame, but my hips cause a small delay. I wriggle free in a matter of seconds. And now I'm sliding down the door, hanging by my hands, when I feel a warmth swell through both my hands.
Something harshly tugs on my arms and I am pulled through the broken window.
I fall head first into the floor and when I open my eyes the room is blurry and spinning.
A tall figure is standing above me, starring down at me with animal-like hunger, his next words are the last I hear before a tiny sting fills my lower arm.
"You shouldn't have done that baby girl, now you have to be punished."
And with that, I blackout.
