Diana's POV:

Hi my name's Diana Rodriguez, i am 8 years old and i live in dominican republic, Santo Domingo, it's a city with a lot of noise really. me and my family are going to be moving to New York City.

sense my father needs a better job than being a constructionist.

I have wavy black hair that grows straight to my waist. I have dark brown eyes, full red lips,my body is like an hourglass shape.

An old friend of our's is helping us to move to YN. She lives in NY city too.her name is April O'Neil, she is very nice person,once you get to know her for the first time.

She travels as a job,which is weird for career like that..maybe I could try it some day.

I hope I get to meet Her friends too. April promised me she would,she already left to new York city to wait for us there, sense she has some urgent business to attend to.

I walked around the house and went into my empty room.I was taking my last glance at my room.

All my memories are caming back to me. I'm going to miss this place really badly,As a few tears came out.. I really don't wanna leave.

My older brother lee came and saw that I was crying. Lee is 18 his about to turn 19 in July 30th.

Lee Rodriguez is a stubborn,weird, and funny brother to be with really. He never gets embarrassed about anything...except for public restrooms course.

"Hey, there sweet pea,is everything all right?" Lee said while he put his hand on my face, cleaning my tears.

I cried. "I don't wanna leave lee.. why does dad need a better job? What's going to happen?" Lee just frowns.

He was about to say something until mommy started calling for us to get into the jeep.

"DIANA! LEE! Get in the car, we have 30 minutes before the plane leaves.!!!!!" My mom said while she runs straight to the car.

Lee and I glance at each other, "you get my stuff and I'll get your's,deal?" Lee said while smirking at me like a daredevil.

"deal!!" I said in a soldier voice and saluted at Lee, while he chuckles at me as I gave him a playful glare.

we got into the car and we got to the airport. Let me tell you that plane....rocked my world!!! Yeah!

Once we landed to New York,
we had to take a taxi car because we didn't have enough money to buy a car in New York.

So we got to the car and head to the road to where April lives. I hope things work out for my dad.

I mean nothing bad is going to happen to us...Right? Yeah I'm sure about this,I guess, how bad can it be?

diana's dad POV:
We were having fun in the car my daughter almost choke on her laugh, my wife Samantha was laughing almost half to deaf,and my oldest son having cramps from his laughter.

What stopped me from laughing is the feeling of leaving Diana with April, this is the reason why I came to New York for.

I have so many enemies around the country I just don't want to risk it,which is why I need to tell her the real reason why she's here.

"Honey? Are you ok love?" I turned to find my wife worried.

I just shook my head and replied. "No, I'm ok, just nervous about the climate,that's all."

Samantha wasn't falling for it, but shrugged.

I have to tell her.

" Diana?"

Diana turned her head towards me. "si papi?" ( yes daddy?)

I swallowed heavily.

"baby cakes,.. do you really know why we're here?"

She shook her head "not really".

I closed my eyes,

"Diana,you do know that we have so many enemies around the country, right?"

Diana lowered her head sadly..she knows.

" yes.."

" then you know why your going to stay with April then, right?"

She didn't answered back, it was a long silence for a large amount of time.

When we got to April's apartment I dropped her off and drove back to the airport to go back home again.

Diana's pov:

My daddy lied about moving. I can't believe I didn't see this coming.

I walked up into April's apartment building and just stand near the door.

I knocked twice and waited for a while. I heard shuffling and multiples of voices inside April's apartment.

" who is it?" April said

" it's me..Diana" I mustered slightly.

I heard the door unlock from the inside. So I walked in and it was amazing.
