Prologue
Samantha
Sam is currently a second year college student in De Lasalle University. A top student at that. A consistent dean's lister, and soon to be a scholar of dlsu. She has been in a relationship for almost 4 years with her childhood bestfriend, kenneth. She has always dubbed their relationship as a perfect one. He was her first love. She was his. At their young age, a lot of promises has been made. Their worlds revolving around each other, she wanted him to be her first, and last. He was mr. right, he was mr. Perfect...... Until she saw him with another girl.
Almond
A varsity player, a member of the De Lasalle green archers. He's in danger of losing his spot in the line up because of his grades. He is in dire need of a tutor. Almond is not only a player on court. He's a player in the game of love. Like the points he produce in a game, the number of brokenhearts because of this pointguard was high. Since he was a big part of the team, their coach couldn't afford to lose him because of academics. Almond is then paired up with the top student of their college, samantha.
Kath
The highschool bestfriend of sam. Also a secondyear student in her dream school, dlsu. There's a reason why she has been dreaming of going to this university for so long. She wanted to see her childhood bestfriend, jeron teng. She wanted to be like sam. To have her first love as her last. She was hoping that jeron would remember her. Not as a fan, but as his bestfriend. She was in love with jeron for so long so she never had a boyfriend, she never saw any other guy.
Thomas
Almond's team mate, jeron's bestfriend. His life revolving on basketball and academics, he was actually excelling in both. Thomas is quite good looking. He's smart, athletic, friendly, he was every girl's dream guy. But he was inlove with a girl for 3 years now. A girl jeron knew about. A girl jeron courted in spite of thomas' feelings for her. This sparked up a hidden rivalry between the two.
She's devastated. He needs her help. She can't seem to grasp the idea of losing everything she wanted. Her life is falling apart. He will lose everything if he fails. His whole career all in the hands of this girl. Will he manage to pick her up? Will she be able to save him? Will he be able to save her? Or will love save them both?
She was in love with jeron, he was in love with angel. He wanted to hurt his bestfriend the same way he was hurt. He saw her as the only way for his revenge. He tries to get her heart. Will he succeed? Or will he find himself falling for his own bait?
Will they really find love? Or will they just be each other's rebounds?
