My Budder Lover [ON HOLD]

Chapter 1

Rose swam through the cool refreshing water and twirled her tentacles round and round until she was dizzy. You see, Rose was a squid. She was swimming with her father. He swam beside her and flicked water at her and she flicked water back. Rose smiled and dove deeper. She closed her eyes and zoomed up, flying into the air and landing with a splash.

"Careful, Rose! Don't want to attract to many people!" Her father said. She smiled at him and jumped on him.

"RAWR! I'm a budder warrior! Feel my wrath squid!" She yelled. Rose couldn't quite pronounce 'r' s, so it sounded like she called herself a 'buddew wawwiow'.

Her father knocked her off and said, "Yes, but I am the greatest and most powerful squid ever! Do you still dare to challenge me?" Rose jumped again but her father dove under her and knocked her into the water. She swirled around and, using a stick as an imaginary budder sword, charged her father. He waited for her, and at the last second, twisted her stick out of her hands and grabbed her, trapping her in a tangle of tentacles. Rose panted and squirmed against her father's grip.

He let her down and she bowed to him. She said with a few pants, "Truly you are the most powerful, most amazing, most wondrous squid of them all!" She smiled at him and snatched her sword before it floated down the stream. She took it in two tentacles and held it out. "I offer you my protection and strength. I will join you in the fight against the budder warriors and you," she paused and looked up at him, smiling. "will become the greatest minecrafter ever! I will serve you forever, SquidDoesMinecraft."

Rose rolled her eyes as squids nearby oohed and aahed at she and her dad. She found it quite annoying when people came up and said, "Oh you must be SquidDoesMinecraft's daughter! Ohyeahhe'ssocoollikethatyoumustbesohonoredthatheisyourfatheryeahthatiscool." Then she would swim away steaming. Everybody knew her as 'SquidDoesMinecraft's daughter'! Nobody except her friends knew her as Rose! She swam around a pond and thought about when she was a little squid. She always went everywhere with her dad. Clung to him all the time. Now that she was a teenager, she found it a little embarrassing. She sighed and looked up when her name was called. It was her dad. He beckoned her over and Rose hesitated, but swam over.

"I wanted to take a swim together, like we used to . It's been very long." Rose sighed and crossed two tentacles in annoyance. Squid smiled knowingly and put a tentacle around her. "I know you hate having to be seen wih me, so I found a place where we can be alone. Just us." Rose looked up at her father. His face was sad and lonely. She gave him a weak smile and he lead her along.

They came to a shore where Rose could see people shooting targets and collecting eggs and hanging out. Rose frowned. She had a very bad feeling about this. Squid pulled her under the dock. He smiled.

"A bit noisy, but no other squids." They hugged and Squid talked to her about ways to escape when she was crowded by squids and made her laugh. They chatted about the army and how training was going. They were there about 10 minutes before someone walked ont the dock. Squid covered his daughter's mouth mid-laugh. He shushed her when she tried to proetest and pointed up at the dock. She got the message and shut her mouth. The footsteps continued and finally stopped at the end of the dock. Legs hung over the edge, gray patterned pants and red shoes. Rose looked at the shoes. Perfect prank time. She moved away from her father and towards the shoes. Her father tried to grab her but Rose pulled away. She moved closer until she was right under the shoes

Her tentacles reached up, and tickled. She heard crazy laughter, then a scream. She laughed and floated out from underneath the dock. Then froze. She'd gotten SkyDoesMinecraft. Squid killer. Budder eater. And he was looking right at her .

She screamed and swam like crazy toward the stream that she and her father had followed. Her tentacles whirled around like she was having a seizure. She heard a call for help and was yanked out of the water by her tentacle. She looked up to see Deadlox swing a sword and her father frozen in horror and Sky screaming, before everything blacked out.
