"So you really thought you could overthrow me? You're  pathetic. Before I kill you you are going to watch me make your friends kill themselves!" Levana said. Cinder wanted to scream and fight back but it was useless. Then Cress,Throne,Scarlet,Wolf,Winter,
Jaician and Kai appeared each holding knives against their throats."I bet you wish you could cry right now dear niece." Levana cackled. Then as one all of her friend cut open their throats. "No!" Cinder screamed bolting up awake. Cinder panted heavily. She checked and saw Kai was still with her,glad that he was a heavy sleeper because Cinder had been having the same nightmare for the last year since the war ended and Cinder and Kai married.Crowning Winter the new queen of Luna."Cinder, come here." Kai  ordered.Cinder crawled into his arms. "I didn't mean to wake you." Cinder said her voice raw."I wake every night I hear you scream." he replied."How long have you known?" Cinder asked shocked. "Since they started." Kai answered. Kai started rubbing her back in comforting circles. "She can't hurt us anymore,I'm right here and I love you."Kai reassured her.Kissing her forehead and shoulders and her lips."Kai will you hold me until I fall asleep?" Cinder asked."Always." He said. He pulled her closer and continued rubbing her back until her breathing evened out and she was asleep. I will ALWAYS be here. Was Kai's last thought before joining Cinder into the realm of dreams.
