Chapter 1

I woke up to getting hit with my uncle splashing me with hot water everywhere on me and also remembering that today was Saturday which meant my uncle didn't go to work so he had the whole day to abuse me.

Get up you worthless little girl!" He said I got up quickly and checked the time and it was 6:47AM. "Why do you hate me I never did any thing to you!" I yelled. He didn't answer me he just slapped me. He left to go get something so I quickly got my phone and locked myself in the bathroom.

I called 911 and they finally picked up "911 what's your emergency?" she said "my uncle is abusing me and he went to go get something so I locked myself in the bathroom." I said "ok just calm down and give me your address" (I couldn't think of a fake address so pretend she gave it to her)

Ok miss you need to calm down ,their are cops on their way to arrest him ok can you give me your name?" "Anna Lee" "ok Anna how old are you?" "15"

I heard my uncle coming then he started banging on the door. "Anna open the door right now!" I was scared more than my entire life that if he found out that I called the cop's he'll kill me. Then he opened the door and everything went black.

I woke up in a hospital bed and saw my best friend Jami Pursell. "Jami what are you doing here I haven't seen you in forever what happend?."

Oh my gosh Anna your awake I missed you so much how are you, how do you feel?."

Umm My head and stomach kinda hurt but other than that i'm fine." I said "Oh my gosh I thought you were gone, the cops took your uncle to jail and when I heard about you I convinced my mom to bring me over here and I know how much you needed someone to help you get through all this." She said.
