Zoya's POV:
After all our lectures were finished for the day Bee and i decided to go back to my house to relax.
"Ma, i'm home!" i called out into the house for my mum.
"Hey girls, how was uni?" we replied with how boring the lectures were and how Attia was flirting with a nerd so he can write her notes. Bee had been to my house before, so she was used to my family.
"di, have you bought my game yet?" my brother ran down the stairs to ask me.
"No, Karim, i have JUST come from uni" i say, setting my bag down. This boy will ask me for this stupid new game even if i'm dying on my last breath.
"ohhhh" he moaned whilst climbing back up the stairs.
"Anyway, ma, Bee and i are just going to my room" i let my mum know.
Once we were in my room we both fell on the bed and let the tiredness take over.
After a while of just sitting there peacefully Bee sat up.
"so, tell me. What's the deal with you and Ali and why am i hearing things about you with Zehraan from Attia?" wow, she goes straight in doesn't she. Well, that's one of the things i like about Bee, she's very straightforward.
"1. There is NOTHING going on between Ali and i, as far as i'm concerned, we're just friends. 2. Why are you listening to Attia....and how did she know about me meeting him? 3. Zehraan was just apologising for being a prick, remember i told you? And 4. I don't like anyone, nor will i ever like anyone unless it is my husband after our arranged marriage. There." i replied with a patronizing smile.
"But what will you do IF Ali starts liking you? Zoya i can see the signs! Attia saw you guys coming out of some resturaunt, holding hands! Well Zoya.....you never know....you might"
"Bee! Ugh, i shouldn't have even gone with him. She's probably going to spread a rumour now too. He was only stopping me from falling. And no, i won't like anyone. And even if i do, i'll have to stop myself. My mum is choosing my husband. I can't afford to like someone." i say, putting my head in my hands as exhaustion from the days events took over me.
"Ok Zoya, as long as you know what you're doing. I will support you all the way."
