1. Ready For The Famous Life.

Six years ago.

"Adele?" I hear a faint voice call out my name. I look around to see who's calling me but I don't see anyone there or here in the room. I must be dreaming, I know I am because I can feel it.

"Who's there?" I ask getting up from my bed as I walk to my bedroom door. I look down to see the light on from the other side. Now I knew I wasn't dreaming anymore. This was real because I was here, here with him. The man that makes my life a living hell.

"It's me Naleah. I'm getting you out of here. Have your bag ready." I didn't know what to believe, that my older cousin was helping me escape from hell. She was the only family member I had left. Even though I had him but he doesn't feel like family anymore. I soon rush to grab whatever I'll need for me. I grab my jacket off the floor, I look around to see if I'm missing anything but soon realize.

"Bubba." I say, it was a teddy bear that I had since I was a little girl. The day my mother gave it too me. Before I could grab it, I hear the door opening, I soon rush to lay in the bed before he notice me leaving. I hold everything in me not to panic or move. I give myself a few seconds before he close the door. I finally let out a breath that I have been holding for a while. I grab bubba and soon rush out of the window with my bags in hand. I see Naleah waiting for me by the car. She noticed me as she quickly starts the car right away. The minute I get into the car, we were off and away from the house I'll never miss or show up ever again as we vanish in thin air and out of sight.

"Where are we going Leah? What are you planning to do now." I ask her. I had so many question running through my mind but why now, why leave when I could of just died in that house like my own mother did because of the man that made our lives a living hell.

"Adele I made a promise to your mother I'll get you out of here once I had the money and I was old enough to do it. Now I have the money, we could go anyone you want Adele. You tell me where and will go. I'm giving you a life that your mother wanted to give you before it was too late." She tells me as we get on the freeway. I stay quiet not knowing what to say but then again I always wanted to live somewhere else then New York.

"So where to Adele." She asks me as she takes a glance at me. I look around the city that I grew up but then again, it never felt like home to me. It was never the same after my mother died.

"California." I said with a smile. That was the place I truly wanted to be and lived or stayed there for the rest of my life.

"Then California it is." She tells me as she starts driving more away from home.

"Leah?"

"Yes."

"What if he looks for me?" I say getting scared a little, knowing this man won't go down without a fight and what he is and where he belongs too.

"He won't Adele. I promise you and i'll make sure of it. I'm going to do everything under my power to make sure he's never near you ever again." She says grabbing my hand and holding it tight into herself.

"Everything will be fine, I promise love." She tells me and calming me down at the same time.

"Now get some rest because we have a long journey to start together."

Six years later.

"Adele time to wake up?" I hear Naleah come into my bedroom, trying to wake me up. It's always a hard time waking me up for her. I turn my body and move the covers up more to my head.

"Adele come on, you have awards to go to for your role in the new movie you star in." I hear Naleah says grabbing the covers off of me. I groan into my pillow as I turn to look at Naleah wit glaring eyes.
