Amidst the dark corridors of a school a boy who was 5'7" with hazelnut eyes and black hair with teal streaks was hiding in a room keeping the door shut and panting heavily as if running from something. "Knock Knock~" A voice rang playfully and mockingly from the other side of the door but the boy gave no answer. "I said.. Knock knock." The voice rang out deeper in a more aggressive tone. "Who's there.." The boy's raspy voice replied to the voice. "Your death bed~" The voice chuckled in a cynical matter as a sword pierced the door by the side of his stomach the boy jumped out in shock and when his weight was lifted off the door that particular voice came barging in. With a broken down door laying down under the feet of a strange cynical being with bloodshot Crimson eyes and a twisted smile the boy could only feel fear. "Hey, let's play peek a boo~" that voice came from a short girl who was 5'4" she shut the door and killed the lights. There was a brief moment of silence in the room for a minute the boy thought the girl who was just here has gone away, although he couldn't tell since it was pitch black. He gave it a few more moments before sighing in relief "I guess I'm sa-" that remark was cut off with a cold feeling of metal pressed on his back "Peek-a-boooooo I see you~" the girls twisted laughter was right by his ears as he felt the cold metal enter him.
"Peek-a-boo~ I see you~" A girl smiled brightly. She was 5'4" with blue eyes "Hm? What's wrong?" She asked the boy curiously. The boy rubbed his eyes curiously "Wha.." He looked at the girl in surprise and jumped. The once Crimson eyed girl had milk skin and was there with a bright smile "What.." He was extremely confused. The setting around him changed as well, it was no longer a school with a dark atmosphere with dead trees. It was a field of grass and flowers "Jeez, you dazed off again.." The girl pouted she seemed to be 14 years old while the boy was 16 "Oh.. Sorry.." The boy laughed nervously not really recalling what he was doing or who this girl was. All he could remember is a name. "Miki.." He says silently so himself "Huh?.. Miki?.." The girl overheard "Is that the name of your friend?" The girl asked.
"Possibly.." The boy gave a long pause. He doesn't remember why he was running, where the Crimson eyed girl went, and who he was. He stood up "well I gotta go now." He comments and walked to what seems to be a city far away. "Ah wait!" The girl chased after him "Kenneth are you going this way?" The girl asked "Kenneth?.." The boy was confused "Yeah, Kenneth. We're friends from the same orphanage aren't we? Isn't that why you're going to the city?" The girl asked "Ah.. Well.." He was lost and didn't know anything about his identity or where he came from so he decided to go along with it "Yeah, I'm going that way. Say.. What was your name again?.." Kenneth asked nervously "That's mean and rude! Forgetting your best friends name." The girl pouted and sighed "The names Nina.." The girl glared "Hmph.. Next time I won't be so forgiving if you forget." Nina comments as Kenneth nods laughing nervously "Ahah.. Sorry.."
Meanwhile in the booming city, Kenneth and Nina walked through the city in awe people were yelling and buying things from Takoyaki, Dango, omurice, and other various assortments of food. After they passed that they went into the orphanage "Well, the city seems to be a ni-" Kenneth was tackled onto the floor with a loud thud. "Yo what up Kenneth my old buddy~" A boy who was 6'8" with completely blue hair tackled him. He seemed to be 17 just a age older. "Hey!! Get off him Tyrain!" Nina comments angrily. "Oops~" Tyrain nods and does just that "who the fuck are you?.. And OWWW!!" Kenneth commented "Hm? Don't tell me you forgot your old bud.." Tyrain pretended to be hurt "Joking~ it's aight man. My names Tyrain~ also known as the trouble maker according to Nina."
"Well you are a trouble maker. You're always destroying things in the house.. I know you can fix them and all since you're handy but still." Nina sighs "Yeah yeah, it's better if I didn't destroy them in the first place. I heard this lecture a lot already! Cut me some slack." Tyrain commented. "So.. Where's the rest of the orphanage?.." Kenneth asked. "Hm? There are none.." Nina gave a thoughtful look "You don't remember?.. This place was thrown to a waste. The faculty was murdered and the orphan kids were taken away by the government for experimentation.. Sick bastards.." Tyrain comments "Mmhm.. Me, you, and Tyrain here had a secret hiding spot in this orphanage so they couldn't find us. Not even the orphanage staff was able to find us. It's a relaxing place!" Nina smiled "Don't tell me you forgot that too.. What's with you today Kenneth?.." Nina looked at Kenneth as he laughed nervously "I don't know.." Kenneth commented "Well, where is this place?" Kenneth asked.
"That place is sacred~" Nina smiled
"And hard to get to.." Tyrain gave a slight rude remark "Ahem.." Nina coughed to get Tyrain to shut up "I'm just saying" Tyrain gave a shrug "Let's eat first before we go~" Nina suggests and starts walking. The two boys following her curiously.
Over on the table was beef curry Kenneth looking in awe he had a slight memory that gave him a aching headache. "Tch.." He clicked his tongue and rubbed his head. "What's wrong?" Nina asked "nothing." Kenneth comments "Let's eat!" Tyrain was already chewing down on the curry "Hey! We're suppose to eat together! No fair!" Nina went to go and eat with Tyrain as Kenneth nods and sat by the two and ate together with them.
