We Are Too Different

Jin's POV

JIN'S POV

Typing in her passcode to her apartment.
Carrying her behind my back.
Taking of her shoes.
*Sigh* She shouldn't have drank so much.

I can't blame her though. I was being a jerk, a total douchebag. But I had no other choice.

She seemed like she was going to puke any moment. Therefore, I brought her to her bathroom and she immediately started hurling. Watching her like this broke my heart into a trillion pieces. Although this is not the first time seeing her drunk and vomitting, but the fact that it's because of me, I couldn't ever forgive myself for this.

"Jin..." She gave out a weak whisper that could be barely heard. Eyes still closed.

I took a damp cloth and wiped her mouth before bringing her to her bed and tucked her in. She was dead asleep then. She wasn't sleeping soundly at all. Eyebrows slightly furrowed. Dried lips.

"At least... I get to watch you sleep." I whispered. I planted a soft yet passionate kiss on her forehead before leaving.

Back in my room, on my bed. I couldn't sleep at all. Drowning in the painful thoughts that are appearing in my mind. I couldn't help but shed some tears.

FLASHBACK TO A WEEK BEFORE

It was mid afternoon, my shift ended and that's when I got a call from one of my precious bro, Jimin.

"Yo Jim Jams, what's up?"
"Ay hyung! Your shift ended, am I right?" He sounded so excited.
"Yeah?"
"GREAT! Me and Kookie are on leave today, Yoongi hyung and Hoseok hyung are free, Namjoon hyung is done with his lectures and Taehyung is as usual, free on Fridays, so we were all planning to go out for some bro time. So are you up for it?"

By his tone, it seems like Jimin really misses us a lot. All 7 of us used to meet up every Sunday, but eversince Jimin and Jungkookie got promoted to inspectors, Yoongi and Hoseok got more cases and I got busier, a week probably became a month.

"Sure, why not?" I started smiling, as I, do miss them as well.
"5pm, usual place, hyung!" With that he hanged up.

All of us met up at our usual basketball court. We started playing from 5 until 7, which is then time for dinner. As usual, we talked about work, games and random stuffs that we talk about.

"Yah maknae, you've gotten EVEN MORE muscular. You're just 20, remember that!" I mentioned because everytime I met Jungkook, he just keeps getting buffer and buffer.
Everyone started laughing. "Hyung, I'm an inspector now okay, remember that!" He fired back.
"A very young one indeed" Yoongi added.
"Don't people find it weird? A super young inspector haha" Taehyung asked.
"All the girls are drooling over Kookie as usual, whether it's during or off work. Nobody really minds haha" Jimin stated.
"Speaking of girls, there's this really hot girl in my class" Namjoon mentioned.
"Yah, yah, don't you dare start hooking up with your students, monster!" Hoseok warned him while laughing.
"You know I wouldn't! It's far too dangerous. I don't know how Jin hyung does it but I'm not as heartless as Taehyung, no offense" Namjoon shakes his head.

All eyes are then on me.

"Yeah, Jin hyung... Are you and ____ still together?" Jungkook asked to break the silence.
"Well... yeah" I know where this is going.
"You told us she was just something like a fling tho" Said Taehyung.
"You're not treating this as a serious relationship, are you? You know-" Hoseok got cut off by Yoongi.
"It's been about a year already, hyung are you still gonna drag it or do you plan to be like Taehyung?"
"Yah, what's wrong with me?" Taehyung defended himself.
"Hyung, it's not really safe-" Jimin sounding concerned.
"Why not just stop-" Hoseok cuts Jimin.
"Just choose option 2 if she finds out, gosh it's not even killing" Taehyung added.
"Yah Tae that's very selfish of you!" Hoseok starting to get mad.
"Hoseok you can't blame him, there are 2 choices" Yoongi trying to defend Taehyung a bit.
"Hyung, what do you actually plan to do?" Jungkook asks.
"Damn it what's so difficult, just pick number 2 and-" Taehyung getting impatient and annoyed.
