One day, while a young girl was cleaning she noticed air being sucked towards the base of wall near a cupboard. Perplexed, she went closer to investigate. There was a slight breeze going in. She held her breath and gingerly peeled away the wood until a huge wrought iron door stood before her. She slowly tugged at the door and it opened. She hesitantly walked inside. The inside of the room was all old and kind of creepy. There were spider webs all over and the wood floors were creaking with every step she took. At the end of the room there was a candle on an old beat up desk. She made her way towards the old desk. There, lying on the desk was a picture. She got a closer look and realized that it was a young girl...that looked exactly like her. The only difference between the two was the clothing and hairstyle. She thought to herself that girl was probably from the 1800's but it was still frightening that she looked like her. SLAM! The door slammed closed.
The young girl whirled around and ran at the door. She tugged at it and it wouldn't open. It seemed to be stuck. She pulled and pulled but the door wouldn't budge. The girl gives up after a while. It's no use, she's stuck in there. She might not ever get out. What about my family? She wonders. After she stops worrying she goes back to that desk. Slowly opening the drawers, she finds a book of some sort. Opening the book, she sees that it is a diary. She picks it up and opens it to a random page. She starts reading.
24 February 1846
Dear Journal,
It is coming up to my birthday soon. I am turning 16 on the 26th. I'm very scared, there are people terrorizing my village. I am scared for my life, my family. There are people after me. I overheard a plot to kill somebody. I was not supposed to hear that. I am writing this in here so maybe another person will see this and go to the police.
