Just the beginning

- Intro -

My name is Jaylinn Lopez and I'm 15 years old. I live the good life because my parents Jade and Ryan Lopez, are hard working and succesful people. I don't like to brag about it though. I consider myself pretty humble and appreciative. I also have an older brother who's named Rayan. But everybody calls him Ray for short. He's 18 years old and doesn't live with us. He graduated and went off to college. I see him when he's on breaks, during holidays, birthdays etc. I also have a 2 year old sister who's name is Evelynn.

I woke up and just stared at my ceiling for a few minutes. Then I turned around to see what time it was. 'Hmmm I still have a few hours to sleep.' I said to myself. But it felt like I just closed my eyes when my alarm clock went off. 'Ughhh..' I groan and let myself slip out of my bed. Summer break could'be been a little longer. But it's whatever. I'm ready for a new schoolyear, new friends and maybe even a boyfriend. Only if daddy and Ray approve of course. 

I walk over to my shower to do what I have to do. 20 minutes later I step out with my curly hair dripping. I finish getting ready and look into my big mirror. 'Hell yeah I look nice for my first day.' I then hear a soft knock on my door. 'Come in.' I sing. I hear someone struggling with the door knob and a soft sigh. Then the door opens and I see my little sister standing in the door opening all dressed up. 'Hey baby, how you doing?' I walk over to her and pick her. 'I'wm goowd Jay. I juwst wanted to swee you bewfore you go to school.' A big smile appears on my face. 'That's too sweet Evelynn. Let's go downstairs and eat breakfast alright?' I put my sister down and the both of us go downstairs. 

We arrive downstairs to find our parents making out on the couch. Ehmm... aaight... I sit at the table and fix Evelynn and myself some cereal. After a few minutes our parents walk into the kitchen and sit at the table. "Goodmorning babygirls. Is everything alright?" My mom says while looking at us. "Moooooooowmmy! What were you and daddy doing? It looked weiwrd!" I smirk and look at my parents waiting for their reply. "Mommy was giving daddy some sugar. Wait untill your older. You'll enjoy it just as much as I do." Dad sits back satisfied with a huge grin on his face. I choke on my cereal and my mom gasps at dad's answer. She slaps him in his chest.

"No baby don't listen to your dad. We weren't doing anything sweetie just eat your cereal. I have to take you to school so hurry please." Mom says.

x Skipping to school

I pull up to the school in my white Range Rover. I open the door and my fresh Nikes hit the pavement. I close my door and look back. Just as I'm about to swing my backpack around my shoulder I hear someone yell. 'Baaaaabe!' I turn around and before I can even blink my cousin Jessica crashes into me and gives me a bear hug. 'Hey girl, I missed your crazy ass.' I say. 'Hell yeah. I'm such a fine girl, who wouldn't miss me?' Jessica says in her cocky voice. 'Yeah yeah yeah whatever I get no loving at all so I'm gone.' My other cousin Shayla says as she turns around and starts walking away. 'Hell naw where do you think you going?' Jessica yells. I take a quick sprint to catch up with Shayla and jump on her back. Then I start kissing her all over her face. 'Babygirl you know I love me a lil ShayShay.' I say. 'Ew get off of me girl.' She says as she wipes my kisses away. I get off of her as Jessica catches up with us. 'Ladies, I'm going to my locker. I see you later!' Jessica says as she starts walking the opposite way as we get into the school building. 

Shayla and I walk up to our lockers to get our books. 'What do you have during the first period?' I ask her. 'I have math. Man... I hate that class.' Shayla answers. 'Oh so now you're just going to leave me alone in English? Sheesh I see what kind of friend you are. Naah just kidding girl.' 'Yes you better be cause you know I don't play like that.' Shayla says as she give me a ghetto stankface. I push her a little als laugh. 'Whatever man, I'm going to class. I'll see you later.' And with that being said we each go on our way to our class.
