You pulled the black paper out and you heard a huff and a shock. "Eww you got Vantias!" Xion cried out as I heard a "hmph". You got pushed into the closet. You start to grumble since a part of you didn't reall want to be in there with HIM.
You know Vantias for a long time, since middle school. He was a new kid and got picked on because of how weird his hair was. He was getting compared to his brother Sora who you were best friends with. You were going to defend him but then he snapped at you.
"I DON'T NEED YOU'RE HELP OR PITY!" Vantias yelled. He was handsome like his brother Sora but he had a different aura around him. Vantias had black spiked hair with yellow eyes. You left him alone through out the rest of the day. Until at the end of the day the same bully that was beating on him followed you home.
"So you're the girl who tried to help the new kid! You need to learn to stay out of people's business!" The male kid as he pushed me. You started to get scared but you kicked his shin and ran away. He caught up to you and was about to hit you.
You wait for the blow but there was the jerk Vantias from earlier standing in front of you. "Hey! Leave her alone! She isn't worth being picked on." Vantias said as he shoved the kid back. You took this time to leave. You thought about what happened. You never thought Vantias would try to save you.
But you thought about it and it came to you that he might want something in return. You sighed as you went home. You were about to turn the corner, when you heard a voice. "HEY PIPSQUEAK!" You turned to see it was Vantias running up to you. "What you want?" You asked in a rude voice. "I saved you're life and this is how you repay me?" Vantias asked with a smirk.
You blushed and looked away. "Thank you." You said in a soft voice. "What was that?" Vantias asked as he put his hand over his ear. "THANK YOU JERK!" You yelled and walked off. It nearly knocked him over.
"Hey! I want something for payment!" Vantias yelled as he got up and ran up to you. "What you want?" You asked as you kept your gaze ahead of yourself.
"I want you to be my girlfriend for a week." Vantias said with a smirk. "WHAT? I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO! I SAVED YOUR BUTT FROM EARLIER!" You said in a loud voice. "I told you to butt out of that and I want to have a girlfriend for a week because most of the girls at school are bothering me." Vantias said glaring at you.
So it has been a week since that day and you were forced to walk with him everyday. You didn't get bullied but some of the girls have started to give you a bad time about it. Saying how can a hot guy like Vantias would even take an interested in you.
You were on the verge of tears until Vantias growled at them. "HEY LAY OFF! I DON"T DATE SLUTS LIKE YOU! NOW LEAVE HER ALONE OR I'M GOING TO KICK YOUR ASS!" Vantias said as he put an arm around you.
The girls have been leaving you alone and you were in the closet waiting for Vantias. You wanted to say thank you and slowly you have developed some small feelings towards him. You wanted to tell him how you feel.
"HEY! DON'T PUSH ME!" Vantias yelled as he was shoved and nearly fell on top of you. "Stupid cheerly girls, oh its you =====. Don't tell me you picked that paper out?" Vantias asked he gave you a small glare.
"Yes I did! I wanted to talk to you anyway." You said as you folded your arms. "Ohh what is it?" Vantias said as he did the same.
"Thank you for standing up for me and I may have developed a crush on you." You said the last part in a whisper because you knew he might start to get smug about it. "Your welcome and I started to like you as well." Vantias said as he put his hands on the back of his head blushing.
You felt your jaw drop at him. "Vantias having feelings? I'm shocked." You said with a giggle. "HEY! Just because I'm a hard ass doesn't mean I'm human!" Vantias said. "Right, and this is coming from a guy who said having feelings suck." You said as you leaned against the wall.
"I'll prove it!" Vantias said as he leaned in and kissed you on the lips. You were shocked at the contact but you kissed back. He had soft warm lips and they seem to fit yours perfectly. He pulled away with a smirk.
"Well it looks like you like my kisses. I have feelings towards you, I want to make sure that you are protected at all times." Vantias said as he pulled you into a hug. You knew some how that deep down that he was a big softie. You smiled as you held him close.
After you got out of the closet, Vantias returned to his normal jerkish self but only when you're not around. You taught him to be a lot nicer to people. You two were happy for the rest of your days.
