Dear diary,

Today me and my mother packed our belongings and border a plane. We are on our way to the state's. California to be exact. Home of tanned girls, muscular guys, and summer sun. Me being from England I'm going to burn. I hope everything goes well. Maybe I'll finally find a boyfriend.

sincerely,

Eliza Smith.

As I close my diary, I look out the window. I watch as day turns to night as we get closer and closer to our destination. I soon find myself drifting to sleep.

"Eliza, wake up," my mother says shaking me. "We're almost there. u better buckle up."

"ok mom," I answer as I sit up. I buckle myself up. "What do you think it's like there?" I ask my mother.

"I don't know sweet heart, but we''ll find out when we get there." she sighs.

"I hope I like it there," I breath. I lay back as we start to decend.

About and hour later, we were off the plane waiting for our luggage. I saw a lot of unfamilar faces.

We retrived our baggage and head to our waiting cab.

We moved to Cali because my mom got a job offer she couldne refuse. She's a fashion designer, and I plan to follow in her footsteps.

As we drive down the road, I look as trees go by and as friends laugh and have fun walk by. As we slowly drive by a group of kids, I make eye contact with one guy, and my breathing hitches. Before I could look at his face my mother calls for my attention.

"We're almost there."

*UNKNOWN POV*

I stood there frozen. Who was she?

"Brody? Yo, Brody. You ok?" My friend, Hayden asks.

"Yea babe. You look pale." Olivia, my girlfriend asks as she grabs my hand.

"Yea, I'm fine. I just though I saw an old friend." I lie. They can't know I've found her. Not yet. Who was that girl? My mind is going one hundred miles an hour as I wall to my door my friends close behind.
