I ran over to Abby’s house. Her being a directioner, she must’ve heard already. I stopped running and stood before her door. I knocked on it, being welcomed by her parents. They started speaking Spanish to each other, even though I’m sure Abby wasn’t Hispanic at all, and left me standing there (at the alter xD). I sighed, picking at my nails, waiting.
‘you gonna invite me in or...
As if she read my thoughts, Abby pushed through them, glomping me. “OHMYGODSHAYLADIDYOUSEETHATNEWSREPORTONEDIRECTIONAREINTHEHOSPITAL-“
“WOMAN CALM DOWN.” I interrupted, pushing her off me. She took a deep breath before completely releasing it in my face. Gee that’s exactly what I wanted to happen (note the sarcasm). We walked in, Abby ranting about the news as if I didn’t see it.

“YOU’RE GONNA DO WHAT?!?!?!” Abby yelled. We sat in her room, on her carpet. I looked at the time nervously. It was now 8:56. Dark.
“Don’t worry Abby, I’m just gonna check on them. Nothing dangerous.” I reassured with a smile. Not dangerous? Yeah because if you want to travel out in Florida at night, it’s totally safe. That was a lie. We were in Orlando. ORLANDO. The city voted the most crime-filled city in America, and we just happened to live here. I was scared out of my mind.
“Well…tell them I said hi!” She said with a nervous chuckle. I was gonna go later when her parents thought we were asleep. Abby turned on her tv so we could watch some reruns of Girl Code (love that show!) when suddenly a wild news report appeared!
*insert Pokémon battle music here*
TV: THIS JUST IN! Members of the band One Direction are in a COMA!! Not all are, but some. Management and even the member(s) requested that the names and amount remain hidden to not worry fans. Only their parents know at the moment. Any updates will be provided. Have a nice night.
Abby and I stood there dumbfounded as Girl Code played. “Just eat your lettuce and be sad.” It said until Abby lunged my backpack at me.
“Oh my god Shayla…You have to go check on them!” Abby exclaimed, pointing at her window that conveniently was there. I nodded and opened the window so her parents wouldn’t notice. “Abby, use that pillow as me so your parents won’t notice I’m gone. She nodded and with that, I was on my way.

I crept through the darkness trying to find the hospital. The bright plus sign caught my attention. I walked in, anxious. What if they won’t let me in? I spotted the nurse at the counter and waved. She recognized me immediately. “Hello Shayla, have fun.” Were her only words since I was trusted in the building. I went up a few floors to the emergency unit. I remember being in here. I stepped on a Lego. Good times. I shook my head, regaining my focus, and exited the stair unit.
“There must be thousands of doors!” I yelled hopelessly. I walked passed a few doors when I hear a slow British accent the caught my full attention. The door was half open and I slowly approached it
I opened the door to see a random 40 year old man. I frowned and walked out, closing the door behind me. I sat down in front if the door and began down cry, hanging my head down so my hair would cover my face.
“Excuse me, What’s wrong?” a mysterious voice asked.
Dude, I’m a directioner inside a hospital containing One Direction. What do you think is wrong?
“Nothing…” I lied. I didn’t bother to look up, after all it was probably another nurse.
“Well I was on my way to the loo and I saw you crying. Tell me the truth.” He said softly, making it not sound like a demand.
